 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud.         The Nigerian Army on the orders of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai has wiped away the tears of an octogenarian and a former soldier, Ex-63NA/8725 Warrant Officer, Paul Ojo and his family. The Army through Major General Usman Shehu Mohammed, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division of the Nigerian Army today, presented 3-Bedroom bungalow located at Number 26, Yakowa Street, Anguwan Galadima, Kaduna, Kaduna State.          Following the visit by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to the helicopter crash site in Opebi and his promise to repair damaged structures, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), has commenced the reconstruction of the damaged infrastructure. Speaking on the commencement of the rebuilding process, the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu stated that the Agency will also conduct integrity and impact assessment tests on the affected buildings as well as within 100 metres radius of the entire disaster area as directed by Mr. Governor.         •Governor Makes Case For Remodelling Of Lagos Airport Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, met with the Management team of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) ahead of the next Saturday’s re-opening of airspace for international flights. Discussions at the meeting focused partly on actionable steps being put in place at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) by the Federal and State governments to give travellers comfort and better experience when the facility is opened for air traffic. The FAAN team, led by its Managing Director, Captain Rabiu Yadudu, also made requests to the Governor for interventions germane to the seamless operations of the Lagos airport, which contributes 70 per cent of FAAN’s total revenue.
