 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. DESMOND TUTU,TO REMAIN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR AN INFECTION NOT RELATED TO HIS PROSTATE CANCER.

                          83 years old Veteran South African anti-apartheid campaigner Desmond Tutu,his daughter Mpor said today thursday that her father will remain in hospital for several more days to fight a persistent infection that is not related to his prostate cancer.Her father Desmond Tutu who has been living with prostate cancer for 18 years,has been placed on a stronger course of intravenous antibiotics since being hospitalized in Cape Town on tuesday.''We are confident that he will recover well from treatment and his doctors are also quite satisfied that his cancer remains dormant and well under control''.

GOVERNOR AMBODE,VOWS TO COMPLETE THE RAIL PROJECT FROM MILE 2 TO MARINA IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS.

                 Governor of Lagos state Akinwunmi Ambode has vowed to complete the Blue Light Rail project from Mile 2 to Marina in the next 12 months.Today thurday,the governor inspected the works done on the rail project said his administration is determined to complete the project at the shortest time possible.He said he decided to inspect the project in order to quickly mobilise the contractor to expedite action so that the project could be completed on time due to its importance.''The Mile 2 Badagry Expressway is very important to all of us and like we said,it's a project that we must finish.It's a project that i would like to be completed withing the shortest possible time.So i'll like to see greater work done on the road project itself.On the rail project,like we have said,we are going to mobilise immediately to see that what has been done from Mile 2 to National Theatre is continued to Marina within the next 12 months.We should be ab...

ALSHABAB TOP COMMANDER DULYADIN GAMADHEERE,KILLED TODAY BY U.S DRONE ATTACK IN SOMALIA.

               According to BBC,Kenya Alshabab top Commander and mastermind of the Garissa University attack Dulyadin Gamadheere has allegedly been killed in a US Drone attack in Juungal between Bardhere and Buur Hajje Somalia.Gamadheere had a Sh20M bounty on his head.Though reports of his death are yet to be confirmed.The man was the alleged mastermind of the terror attack on Garissa University in Kenya that has left at least 15 people dead and alot of people injured.The BBC reports states that two senior commanders from the Islamist militant group were today killed in a drone strike in south west Somalia.Several loud blasts were heard in the town of Bardere at dawn and the bodies were later found.reports by AFP said that Missiles were fired from an unidentified military aircraft striking al-shabab targets in southern Somalia early today thurday causing casualties.
