 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. MUSLIMS IN PAKISTAN,DEMANDS DEATH SENTENCE ON THOSE THAT RECENTLY CARTOONED PROPHET MOHAMED ON THEIR MAGAZINE COVER.

          The protest started since yesterday continued today and nearly 300 people from a religious group rallied in the eastern city of Lahore,carrying placards saying ''Down with Charlie Hebdo''.The rally came as Pakistan lawmakers staged their own demonstration outside parliament after passing a resolution condemning the image of Islam's prophet in the French satinical newspaper.The front cover shows a weeping Mohammed,holding a sign,that reads ''I am Charlie,All is forgive'',above him.Last week,there was a rampage at the office of Charlie Hebdo which killed 12 people,including Editors,cartoonists and two policemen.Many Muslims considers the cartoon a sacrilege.Religious Affairs Minister Sarder Mohammed Yousuf said the lawmakers unanimously adopted the resolution condemning the publication of the images.What the Pakistan Muslim's want is for the cartoonist to be sentenced to death.More photos below.                 ...

FILIPE NYUSI,WAS SWORN IN AS MOZAMBIQUE'S NEW PRESIDENT TODAY.

                                                         Today thursday Filipe Nyusi was sworn in as Mozambique's new President,following his contested election victory last October,promising to modernise the economy and maintain peace in the east African state.Opposition leader Afonso Dhlakama,whose Renamo party says last year's vote was fraudulent,boycotted the ceremony.Earlier this month,the former civil war rebel chief,threatened to split the country in two because of the election row.One more photo below.                                                               

U.S,EBOLA SURVIVAL DOCTOR RICK,PLANS TO RETURN BACK TO LIBERIA TO HELP VICTIMS.

                                                        52 year old Doctor Rick Sacra,who is a medical missionary with the christian organization SIM,plans to return back to Liberia where he contracted the deadly Ebola virus few months ago,to continue working in the same hospital.Doctor Sacra said ''If God has loved me enough and cared for me enough to get me through Ebola,i need to give something back to him.The decision to go back was an easy one,i'm less nervous about this trip because i know what i'm getting into little more and also because the thing i was afraid of last time,i've had it.And thank God,i'm through it''.In recent conference,his wife Debbie said ''There was never any doubt her husband would return to Liberia,where they lived for 15years as missionaries with christian aid group,during a brutal civil war and HIV/AIDS epidemic.T...
