 PRESS RELEASE FG Flags Off  Three Major Water Supply Projects to Boost Access in Benue State The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, has flagged off three critical water supply projects in Benue State as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.  The projects which includes rehabilitation and upgrading of the Buruku-Gboko Water Supply Project, Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Wannune Water Supply Project, and Construction of the Ugbema Water Supply Project are aimed at expanding access to potable water, improving public health, and mitigating the prevalence of waterborne diseases in the state. Speaking at the flag off ceremony in Gboko, Benue State, on March 27, 2025, the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr.     It was a night to remember..the 26th of December started like any other day, but ended on a high.. It was the Hip Samba 2019 edition..there was a lot of performances from very wonderful artistes across the country,with The Star act coming all the way from the United States of America (Though a kaduna bred lady).. But one act stood apart.. The African Michael Jackson led trio..their performance had everyone asking for more, and when David Obama Geoman the African Michael Jackson showed why he won the Award as the Most fierce dancer in Africa under 18,and also recently, the best solo dancer in Africa ,the crowd went hysterical.. It was a perfect fusion of Pop.. Hip-hop, and the traditional Samba dance..it was new, and it was beautiful.. This young 9 years old is the new face of entertainment.. FIRE OUTBREAK AT BUSH BAR 'CENTRE VIEW HOTEL' ABAGANA,YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

       ANAMBRA STATE POLICE COMMAND DIARY: FIRE INCIDENT. Yesterday, 27/12/2019 at about 2:pm, there was a fire outbreak at bush bar axis of Centre view hotel Abagana in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State. Following the distress call,Police patrol team led by DPO Abagana Division CSP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor rushed to the scene and alerted the fire service department. Meanwhile, the fire was put off with the assistance of volunteers. Area was cordoned off by the Police to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation to loot.Cause of fire is yet unknown and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed. Consequently, no loss of life and no casualty recorded. Case under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident please.        Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has assured that his administration will continue to protect the rights of the citizens to practice any religion of their choice without the fear of harassment or discrimination. The Governor, stated this on Friday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos where he declared open the 34th National Qu’ran recitation competition. The Governor noted that the competition will further enlighten all and sundry as well as exposing Muslim youths to the bright side of life as preached by Islam through the holy Qur'an. The National Qu’ran recitation competition was established in 1986 as an annual Islamic competition. It is organised by the Centre for Islamic Studies, Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto to bring the Qur'an closer to the hearts and minds of young Muslims across the country.        A video of another young domestic help allegedly brutalized by her madam has surfaced online and angered viewers. In the video, the girl is seen bleeding from her lip and from the back of her head. When asked, she revealed her madam allegedly hit her with her shoes because pap meant for feeding her children had finished. Twitter users have expressed outrage and are asking that the abusive madam be found and prosecuted for child abuse.The photos above and below were gotten from the video.One photo below.
