 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. Protest Rocks Ogun Poly As Robbers, Cultists Rape, Kill Students, Students of the Gateway  Students of the Gateway Polytechnic, Saapade, Ogun State, on Tuesday, protested the attacks on their colleagues by armed men suspected to be robbers and cultists. The students staying off campus stormed the campus on Tuesday displaying placards. It was gathered that students residing in the off-campus hostels were mostly affected in the attack. One of the students said, “They raped some girls and even beat two to death on Sunday. We can no longer sleep with eyes closed. These criminals will come to take our belongings and even force themselves on girls. It is getting too much. This must not continue.”  Some images shared on social media show a corpse on the floor while four others with injuries are seen being attended to in a place that looks like a hospital. Naked Woman goes on rampage around airport. Zimbabwean woman caught carrying her ex-boyfriend’s head and upper body in a suitcase. A 33-year-old Zimbabwean woman, Tatenda Mhlanga, has been arrested alongside a South African man, Johannes Lebese,53, for allegedly killing, beheading and dismembering her boyfriend’s body.  Mhlanga and Lebese from Watville appeared at the Benoni Magistrates’ Court in Gauteng, South Africa on Monday, November 20, 2023.  They are facing charges of murder and violating a corpse.  The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday.  “It’s alleged that on 11 November 2023, the two were stopped by the crime prevention wardens carrying a suitcase,” said Lumka Mahanjana, NPA Regional Spokesperson, Gauteng Division: Pretoria.  “The wardens asked the two to open the suitcase and they found a human head and upper body of Mhlanga’s ex-boyfriend, Obert Mazadza (42), who is also a Zimbabwean national. “After discovering the body parts, it is alleged t...

 Police apprehend 2 criminals over ATM swap in Niger The Niger State Police Command has arrested two suspects for allegedly being in possession of nine ATM cards swapped from victims in Nasarawa and Kogi states. The Command through the Public Relations Officer,PRO, DSP Abiodun Wasiu, said the suspects were arrested last Thursday at Old NEPA roundabout, Suleja, after they attempted to swap a woman’s ATM card at a commercial bank’s ATM gallery. The suspects include Aver Wese, 31yrs, of Obudu, Cross-Rivers State and Godwin Deor, 30yrs of Ankpa, Kogi State. The police spokesman explained that the woman discovered the attempt and raised an alarm, while the suspects immediately entered a Toyota Corolla vehicle with Reg. The music star in his interview with Pop Central TV, stated that the wealth in the industry cannot be understood. While likening the money earned through music to that of the one made from rituals, he noted that even if he were to stop making music, the songs he has already released would continue to generate income for him. “There is too much money in music that you can never understand at all. Israel-Hamas war: Ceasefire to be announced in coming hours – sources AHamas official said Tuesday that a ceasefire agreement with Israel would be announced in the coming hours in Qatar. The official, who requested to remain anonymous, spoke with Xinhua. “We are close to reaching an agreement in the coming hours, and the movement has delivered its response to the mediators’’, it said. Another Hamas source said, “the agreement will be announced in Qatar, and it may be soon, and its success is linked to the commitment of the Israeli side.” The ceasefire deal, said the sources, would last for five days and would include the release of 50 civilians and foreign nationals held by Hamas in exchange for the release of 300 Palestinian detainees. We’ll Make It Mandatory For INEC To Upload Results – Senate  The Senate Committee on Electoral Matters has said that it will make it mandatory for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to upload election results online. The committee chairman, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, told Channels TV on Tuesday that the current law does not make it mandatory for INEC to upload results, but that the committee is working on amending the law. He said, “That is one of the things that we are going to do. Under the current law, it is not mandatory for INEC to upload results, that is what the court has said. The fraudsters: Ibrahim Dyeris, (alias Kyala Ford and Mathew Mcconaughey ) and Daniel Chukwuemeka Emodi were jailed on Monday, November 20, 2023 after pleading guilty to one-count separate charge bordering on impersonation raised against them by the Kaduna Zonal Command of the EFCC.  Abia breaks silence on spending N927m for Gov’s feeding The Abia State Government has described reports Governor Alex Otti spent over N900 million on feeding and welfare from July to September 2023 as false. Several reports claimed Otti spent N927 million within three months on refreshments/meals, settlement of honorarium, allowances and welfare packages.  The Lagos State Police Command has said the autopsy report of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, has not been given to them.  The 27-year-old singer d!ed on September 12 in controversial circumstances. Nigerians demanded for an autopsy to be carried out to ascertain the real cause of his d£ath. On September 21, exactly two months today, his body was exhumed from where it was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos state for an autopsy to be carried out.
