 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. 150 BUGS REMOVED FROM THE NOSE OF A MAN IN FLORIDA. (PHOTO).

 Jacksonville Florida man has 150 bugs removed from his nose. Last Friday, a Jacksonville hospital was the scene of stomach turning incident. A patient who is remaining unidentified came to the emergency room after his face began to rapidly swell. The man said his whole face felt like it was on fire and his lips swelled so badly he could barely talk. The man went on to explain he had been experiencing symptoms since October but it had been getting progressively worse with him having constant nose bleeds. When he showed up at HCA Memorial Hospital in that condition the responding doctor thought he saw movement while examining his nose bleed. At this point they used a camera to have a closer look and literally couldn't believe what they were seeing. At first glance the doctor could see dozens of bugs alive and seemingly feeding on this poor man's nose and sinus cavity.  Ferguson, Missouri house fire that killed a mother and her 4 children now ruled a murder/suicide. The early Monday morning fire tragically took the lives of 39-year-old  Bernadine Pruessner and her 4 children. 9-year-old Ellie and Ivy, twin sisters, 2-year-old Millie and 6-year-old Jackson. St. Louis County Police have now released new information that adds an even more appalling aspect to the story. Police say Bernadine intentionally set fire to a mattress igniting the inferno which took the family's lives. They also stated they found a note in which Bernadine stated her intentions.  An attorney for Bernadine stated, "Tragically, today the life of a wonderful mother, a brilliant educator and her 4 beautiful children were lost." He went on to suggest the tragic event was the culmination of ongoing litigation between Bernadine and the children's fathers, and she found herself in a dark and awful place.  Jayo Archer the 27- year-old X Games medalist and motocross star has sadly died as a result of an accident while practicing a triple backflip. Jayo died Wednesday morning in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia.  Jayo was one of only 3 riders to ever pull off the triple backflip. He successfully landed it for the first time at the Nitro World Games in November of 2022.  He last performed the stunt during Nitro Circus Live at Oklahoma in June of 2023. Jayo proposed to his fiancée after his first successful attempt and they were set to be married this year.

 Gani Adams to FG: You can’t impose hardship on Nigerians and expect silence Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, has implored President Bola Tinubu to take drastic steps towards ameliorating the hardship in the country.  Naira strengthens by 7.43% to N1750 against dollar at the black market  The Naira witnessed a notable surge on Thursday, reaching a high of N1750 per dollar in the parallel market, commonly known as the black market. This surge represents a substantial 7.43% increase, with the currency strengthening by N130.00 compared to the previous day’s closing rate of N1,880. The surge coincides with Nigeria’s intensified efforts to counter the ongoing depreciation of the Naira. In response to the currency’s decline, Nigeria has ramped up measures to stabilize its value.  Court Jails Eight Undergraduates, Six Others for Internet Fraud in Benin City  Thirteen internet fraudsters were on Thursday February 22, 2024 convicted and sentenced to various jail terms by Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.  Eight of them:  Ayodeji Emmanuel, Oyebade Johnpeace Jesustofunmi, Babatunde Oluwapelumi Richard, Owoyemi Michael Boluwatife  Sodiq Bayonle Qosim, Sunday Solomon Blessing, Ilori Tolulope and Anthony Akinbulijo, are  undergraduates of the Federal University of Technology,  Akure, Ondo State.  Others are Ifiriyele Orilola Samuel, Ajileye Wale, Elvis Oni Mohammed, Ogbeifun Prince and Stephen Kelvin and Abudu Umaru The convicts were arraigned separately on one count charge of impersonation and possession of fraudulent documents by the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.   The charge against Mohammed reads: “ that you Elvis Oni Mohammed on or about the 9th day of February, 2024 in B

 EFCC Arrests 27 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Bauchi   Operatives of the Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  on Thursday, February 22, 2024, arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters.   They were arrested at D&D Apartment and Bubes Hotel, Yelwa, Bauchi State, following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet- related offences.   Items recovered from the suspects include a BMW car, iphones, Ipads, laptops and a desktop computer.   They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.   More photos below.

 Okpebholo emerges Edo APC Gov candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo (Edo Central) has been declared winner of Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship direct primary election. TENSION AS BIKE MAN KILLS ONE IN OGBA.(PHOTO).

There is tension in Oluwole Ogba and Aguda axis after an unidentified Hausa bike man popularly known as Okada ride allegedly stabbed one person to death. It is unclear what led to the incident but it was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday night. According to eyewitnesses, the conflict escalated when some Oluwole boys stormed Oke Ira area in Ogba in search of the Okada riders, who are mostly northerners. However, police officers from the ‘Area G’ command in conjunction Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have beefed up the areas to curb any clash between Hausa Okada riders and Yoruba residents in Ogba. P.M.News correspondent who visited the areas noticed how Hausa Okada riders are fleeing for their lives in and around Ogba to avoid been lynched by the mob or escape from police arrest.
