 Chess master, Tunde Onakoya’s parents get house gift By Jide Ajia Chessmaster, Tunde Onakoya,  finds himself engulfed in emotions as an unnamed good Samaritan graciously gifted a house to his parents. The development is coming on the heels of Tunde’s breaking of the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon in New York. While the official verdict on Tunde’s record-breaking endeavoir remains pending, the spirit he exhibited throughout the marathon has already won him admiration and acclaim from far and wide. Overwhelmed by the gesture towards his parents, Onakoya took to his X handle to pour out his heartfelt gratitude on Friday. Despite his father’s initial skepticism towards his passion for chess, Onakoya acknowledged his unwavering support in myriad other ways. He wrote, “Today, an angel blessed my parents with a new home.                    Jennifer Anniston was spotted today thursday mornin as they boarded a private jet for their honeymoon after they got married secretly yesterday at their Bel Air mansion.Photographers captured them at a Los Angeles airport,walking up the steps to a plane,as they headed off to celebrate their nuptials at an unknown location.Justin Theroux proposed to Jennifer Aniston on his birthday in 2012,so yesterday wednesday,they decided to make it official and sources claimed that A-list celebrities like Lisa Kudrow,Ellen DeGeneres,Chelsea Handler,Emily Blunt and Howard Stern were spotted arriving to attend their wedding.Wow congrats to the couple.More photos below.

THE HIPPOPOTAMUS THAT IS TERRORIZING GOMBE FARMERS,WAS CAUGHT & KILLED TODAY.

              According to sources,this hippopotamus in the picture above was caught by some farmers in Dadinkowa dam Gombe state today the 6th of August 2016.According to some Gombe residence who shared these pictures on facebook said the hippopotamus had been terrorizing some farmers in the community and they decided to hunt it down.The problem is that,is like the meat sellers have started laying claim to the hippopotamus meat for suya or kilishi as seen in the picture below,where it shows a man trying to open the stomach of the hippopotamus and other men waiting with knives to cut their own share.This is a rare specie in Nigeria,i wonder how it found it's way here.More photos below.

12,000 NIGERIAN REFUGEES IN CAMEROON,TO BE REPATRIATED.

                          Nigeria emergency agency daid yesterday wednesday that Nigerians are being repatriated over the next three to four days after seeking refuge in Cameroon from attacks by Islamist militant group Boko Haram.A National Emergency Management Agency spokesman Manzo Ezekiel said the returnees would be accommodated mainly in the town of Mubi in Adamawa state,close to the border.''We already cleared about 1,150 people but border officers projected that 12,000 people would be arriving''.Cameroonian authorities expelled about 2,800 Nigerians over the weekend following a series of suicide bomb attacks in July.

KADUNA STATE GOVERNOR,ORDERS ALL IT'S STATE BANK ACCOUNTS TO BE CLOSED.

                 In a statement signed by Samuel Aruwan,the Special Assistant,Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kaduna state Mallam Nasir El-Rufai said the governor gave the directives at a meeting with officials of all banks hosting the state government's revenue and expenditure accounts.He said the meeting was also attended by the Kaduna state Branch Controller of the CBN.El-Rufai explained that after the establishment of the Treasury Single Account {TSA},the state government will open specified sub-accounts with the CBN and the commercial banks.''The banks  officials present assured the governor that within five working days of receiving the formal instructions from the state government,they will close the accounts and remit the balances to the TSA''.The statement also disclosed that selected revenue holding accounts will be excluded from the directive.The government will publish needed Treasury Circulars and other instructions to ive effect to these decisio

                                      According to sources,a Nigerian man  Daniel Kadima living in the United States has been charged with murder after his mother Dr Esther Kadima was found dead at her Regency Park apartment in Texas USA.61 year old Dr Hauwa Esther Kadima,was found dead on July 28 after officers received a call from her son 31 year old Daniel Basor Kadima,alerting them of a person believed to be dead at her apartment.Daniel called 911 about 9 a.m July 28 and told dispatchers he was calling to report a death,according to the warrant,which was released Monday.When asked when he had last seen his mother,he responded ''Yesterday''.He identified himself but did not say the victim's name or the nature of their relationship.According to the warrant,when he was asked what had happened,Kadima responded ''My duty is just to call in and let you know''.Officers say they arrived and found Hauwa Kadima lying on the floor next to a broken wooden ch
