EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                                  According to Zee World,it was quite shocking for everyone to know that television's most loved couple Vivian Dsena {Vicky Jai Walia in The Promise} and Vahbiz Dorabjee have called it quit after three years of blissful marriage.Vivian and Vahbiz,who met each other on the sets of Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani in 2010,married in 2013.The couple separated some time ago and their fans have refused to accept the fact.However,Vivian Dsena recently opened about his failed marriage with Vahbiz.The television star said that he and Vahbiz wre married for three years and are matured enough to decide what is best for them.While neither of them has spoken or revealed the reason behind their separation,speculations and sort of reports were doing rounds that Vahbiz's closeness with a male friend has created the tension between the golden couple but there is no truth to these reports.More photos below.

              An operations manager of a new generation bank in Yenagoa,Bayelsa state,Folorunso Ademola Rasaq,has confessed before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos,that the Branch Manager of the Bank,Iwejuo Joseph Nna,was the account officer to Ebiwise Resources Limited,Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited,Rotato Inter-Link Services Limited and Pluto Property & Investment Company Limited.The four companies are being prosecuted by the EFCC on a 23-counts charge of concealment and retention of proceed of crime to tune of over N,667,162,800.00 {One billion,six hundred and sixty seven million,one hundred and sixty two thousand,eight hundred Naira}.The accused persons are: Waripamo-Owei Emmanuel Dudafa,Iwejuo Joseph Nna a.k.a Taiwo A. Ebenezer and Olugbenga Isaiah.Justice Idris adjourned the case till September 26,2016 for continuation of trial.More photos below.
