  Student Arrested For Filming Classroom Assault On Teacher In Malaysia Police in Malaysia have arrested a 16-year-old after reportedly injuring a teacher with an axe at a private school in Kuching, Sarawak. According to Malaysian authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 7:50 am on Wednesday, October 21, at Tunku Putra-HELP School in Sarawak. CCTV footage reportedly shows the teenager entering a classroom armed with an axe and striking a female teacher. He subsequently exits before returning through another entrance and swinging the weapon towards fleeing students. When the teacher attempts to intervene, the suspect allegedly tries to attack her again. However, one male student reportedly managed to overpower him and confiscate the weapon. Sarawak acting police commissioner Saifullizan Ishak said the police received an emergency call, informing them that the student had brought firecrackers to the school and injured a teacher.  The golden glasses of Akan chiefs.  Long before shutter shades became a thing in popular culture, chiefs of the West African tribes wore barred up lenses made from solid gold.  Their purpose wasn't for vision or sight but it was rather a social structure that symbolized the hierarchy. The purpose of the glasses was that nobody could look the chief in the eyes. Highlighting the significance and power dynamic within the ethnic group 🇬🇭 🇨🇮.  More photos below.

  The big moment for fashion fans arrived on The Blue Carpet of MET Gala 2025 and above are some of the Nigerians that made it to the Gala.  Like every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, it meets an impressive crowd of actors, musicians, models, designers and more... on the occasion of the Spring Exhibition of the Costume Institute. This year, the event celebrates with “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”, the sample that can be visited from May 10 to October 26, 2025. The new exhibit highlights the importance of clothing and style in shaping Black identities in the Atlantic Diaspora, and will be organized by the 12 characteristics of dandism black.  More photos below.
