 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                                                           According to an eye-witness named Chukwuma Ani who spoked to HITZ,said he witnessed the incident and was one of the men who pulled Teebillz off the bridge,he said around 9 this morning while driving on the Lekki-Ikoyi toll bridge,a car hit his own from behind,damaging his car.He said he came out of the car and approached the driver of the vehicle that hit his.He didn't know who the man was {it was Teebillz} but he said he berated him for hitting his car and asked the man to come out and assess the damage caused to his car.The man looked at him and told him to leave..that he was there for a reason.That he was planning to commit suicide and Chukwuma Ani would hear about it later...Tillbillz decided to take this drastic move of committing suicide after him and his wife Tiwa Savage call their marriage quit.He posted a suicide note today thursday in which you can read it below.But their was a twist,the same Tunji Balogun said he

                                                       The Federal Government has declared Monday May 2 as public holiday to commemorate this year's Workers Day Celebration.The Minister of Interior,Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau {rtd},who announced this on behalf of the federal government,congratulated Nigerian Workers for their resilience,hard work and commitment to the change mantra of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration,despite current challenges.According to a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary,Ministry of Interior,Bassey Okon,the minister enjoined Nigerians to continue to support the President in his desire to fight corruption,ensure security of lives and property and stabilize the economy through creation of jobs and diversification of the economy.One more photo below.

A CONVENT IS ABOUT TO CLOSE DOWN,BECAUSE GHANA WOMEN REFUSED TO BECOME NUNS FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS.

                  A nun convent in Ghana is likely to soon be closed,since Ghanaian women have refused to become nuns for the past 18 years,since it has been in operation.The Philippine nuns who opened the convent with hopes of filling their ranks haved aged and their superiors have threatened to close the convent if they don't get any members in five years.Only one Ghanaian woman tried to join the Carmelite nuns but ran away.According to sources who said a local Ghanaian woman said ''Leaving my family,my friends behind to go and live such a contemplative life?.I don't think i could do it.I would not be allowed to even watch television.God!''.Father Gerald Zenah,Chaplain of the Catholic Youth in Tamale believes that amending the conditions for entry and raising the age limit of being younger than 40 years might make things better according to DW.One more photo below.

5 BOKO HARAM WERE ARRESTED YESTERDAY ALONG DIKWA ROAD,BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY.{PHOTOS}.

                  Following reports by some good citizens about Boko Haram terrorists activities and on hearing of very loud explosions near Dikwa yesterday wednesday morning,the 27th of April 2016,troops of 22 Brigade embarked on a patrol to Ajiri and Antul villages,South East of Dikwa along Dikwa-Gulumbagana road.The patrol made contact with Boko Haram logistics elements who specialised in using the 2 villages as base for food storage and other logistics before moving them to Bama and then to Sambisa forest.In the encounter 5 Boko Haram terrorists were arrested comprising 3 adults and 2 minors.The under aged male children were dressed in new Boko Haram uniforms we earlier reported.The troops recovered 1 truck,2 Golf cars painted in mud,4 bicycles and 3 x 5kva power generating set,as well as 55 bags of corn.-Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman,Acting Director Army Public Relations.More photos below.
