DRAMA AS MOHBAD'S EIFE FINALLY GETS SERVED DNA COURT ORDER ON HER HOUSE GATE. (PHOTO).

 Drama as Mohbad’s wife finally gets served DNA court order on her house gate Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer, Mohbad has been finally served the court order for a DNA test. It was reported that the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu had granted the order that Omowunmi needed to be served a notice of the pending DNA test application. The legal team told the court that the Sheriff of the court had attempted twice to serve Wunmi the court process but failed and the Chief Magistrate then ordered that Wunmi should be served by posting the court process on her last known address. In an update to it, the court order has been finally delivered to her. The court order letter was pasted on the mother of one’s house gate.

      A member of the House of Representatives, Ibrahim Murtala, representing Musawa/Matazu federal constituency of Katsina State, has dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The lawmaker made this known in a letter read on  the floor of the House by the speaker, Yakubu Dogara, during plenary on Tuesday.Mr Murtala did not state the reason for his defection.He becomes the first elected official from President Muhammadu Buhari’s home-state of Katsina to dump the ruling party for another party. The APC and PDP have lost a couple of their members in the past few months to other parties. This cannot be unconnected to the fallout of the recently concluded primary elections held across the country.

       President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday in Abuja said Nigerian government remains deeply grateful to the government and people of Switzerland for their support in resuscitating the economy, especially the return of illegally stolen funds. Receiving Letters of Credence from the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nigeria, Mr George Steiner, at the Presidential Villa, President Buhari said the return of stolen funds and interventions in the crisis in the North East further indicate the Swiss government’s commitment to the development of Nigeria. “We are grateful to the Swiss government for allowing illegally stolen funds to be brought back to Nigeria,’’ he said. Residents of Ekotedo area of Ibadan metropolis were reportedly woken up from sleep by the distress cry of a middle-aged woman, Martha, being beaten by her husband, who allegedly caught her with her female lover in a hotel.
