OVER 25 MILLION PHONES STOLEN IN ONE YEAR- FG. (PHOTO).

 Over 25 million phones stolen in one year – FG The Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey report of the National Bureau of Statistics, a Federal Government agency, shows that Nigeria recorded 25.35 million phone theft cases between May 2023 and April 2024. According to the report, this was the most common type of crime within the period under review. The report read, “The number of crimes experienced by individuals in Nigeria was analysed over a period of time. The results show that theft of phones (25,354,417) was the most common crime experienced by individuals, followed by consumer fraud (12,107,210) and assault (8,453,258). However, hijacking of cars (333,349) was the least crime experienced by individuals within the reference period.” It also noted that most phone theft cases occurred either at home or in a public place, and about 90 per cent of such cases were reported to the police.                              According to sources,Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley is to stand trial in North Dakota early next year on charges related to her protest against the Dakota Access pipeline.Shailene Woodley was among the 27 activists arrested on October 10,2016 pleaded not guilty last week to criminal trespass and engaging in a riot.Court documents show Woodley's trial is scheduled January 25,2017 in the state court of Mandan.She could face two months in jail and $3,000 in fines if convicted of the two misdemeanors.The Standing Rock Sioux want construction of the $3.8 billion pipeline halted,saying it could taint water supplies and encroach on tribal burial sites.More photos below.

A KEKE RIDER WAS GRUESOMELY MURDERED IN AWKA ANAMBRA STATE ON THURDAY.{PHOTOS}.

             A keke rider Mr Sule Muhammed who is a member of Association of non indigenes in Anambra State {ANIAS} has been gruesomely murdered by unknown people.The President of ANIAS Comr. Ferguson Okpara has condemned the clueless murder of Mr Sule Muhammed whom is a Keke Rider and currently the secretary of Igala Indigenes in Anambra State that was believed to have occurred on thursday 20th October,2016 around 11pm.According to the brother of the deceased,he raised alarm of Mr Sule's absence from the house at his usual home coming hour which is 9pm.According to him,he waited till 10pm but with a continuous call on the deceased line which the deceased failed to pick till the line got off.At that point,he was scared and started calling all his Igala brothers and friends to inquire if anyone knows Sule's where about but all efforts became futile.The following morning which was yesterday according to the brother,he received a strange call around 9am ...
