                 Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today sunday assured that that State Government in collaboration with security agencies would soon rescued victims kidnapped from Lagos Senior and Junior Model College,Igonla-Epe,vowing that the government would also commence a review of its laws to curb and effectively punish perpetrators of such act.The Governor,who spoke shortly after carrying out an extensive inspection of projects across the State,also issued a 7-day ultimatum for all illegal structures on the State's waterfront to be demolisg=hed.Speaking to journalists at the Illubirin Housing scheme in Lagos Island,the Governor who was visibly worried about the erection of several shanties and structures within the premises and especially on the waterfront,said such would not be allowed in the State anymore.He said Kidnappers,suspected militants and criminally minded persons often seek refuge in such shanties close to the water...

                       With the recent arrest of some judges on friday and the Nigerian Bar Association declaring a state of emergency yesterday saturday,so today Senator Ben Murray Bruce,the Senator known for making common sense took to his twitter few minutes ago to comment on the situation and he said ''Judges are not above the law.No one is.But if you must go after them,don;t go after them with brute force.Brutality kills democracy!''.One more photo below.

                     According to the Punch,the Nigeria Bar Association yesterday saturday declared a state of emergency in the judiciary following the midnight arrest of some judges by the Department of State Services.The declaration of the state of emergency was made on Saturday evening in Lagos by the NBA President,AbubkarMahmoud {SAN}.Mamoud addressed the press alongside four past presidents of the association,Chief Wole Olanipkun {SAN}Dr Olisa Agbakoba {SAN}; Mr J.B Dauda {SAN} and Augustine Alegeh {SAN}.Others in attendance at the declaration,which held at Eko Hotel,Victoria Island,were Prof Kayinsola Ajayi {SAN}, Mr Yusuf Ali {SAN},  among others.Mahmoud said two Supreme Court justices,Inyang Okoro and Sylvester Ngwuta were ''abducted'',with their families,adding that he had yet to have the full detail of other judges who could have been involved.Mahmoud said the NBA condemned what it termed the Gestapo-style operation o...

                                        According to Nigerian Police Compliant Response Unit who posted this story yesterday saturday said ''Remember the Facebook photo by one Ajani Johnson on the 5th of September,2016 in which he claimed a policeman tore all his original vehicle documents?,Ajani Johnson called the police all sort of names and requested that people share his post so something can be done.The Complaint Response Unit {CRU} and some members of the public who so much believes in the workings of the Unit contacted Ajani Johnson via his Facebook post to provide details of the said occurrence so as to enable investigation and necessary action but rather than doing that Ajani Johnson has now deleted the said photo post.He saw that he could not provide information to substantiate his false and misleading photo post.This is just another evidence that some people so much derive joy ...
