 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                   Television Personality Giuliana Rancic,is denying rumors that she was fired following the network's announcement that she will no longer be hosting E! News.In a recent interview,Giuliana Rancic defended herself by saying that ''It was 100 percent my decision to leave.I brought up the idea to leave years ago,but E! News Kept extending me because they wanted me to stay''.Though she will still be hosting Live From The Red Carpet and Fashion Police,but Giuliana Rancic says that she'd had enough of E! News.''I took on a challenge 14 years ago.I was a young reporter,and e! News was my dream job.It's been an incredible journey.But after 14 years,i have nothing else to accomplish on the show.I want to grow as a person,as a business woman,as a host,and in order for me to grow,i need to take on a new venture and new challenges''.Maria Menounos,will be replacing Rancic as the new host of E!                   3 Men were arrested today for killing a 27 year old Bashir Shehu,a student of the Federal University of Education,Kano.The men who were arrested were among the dozens of Bandits {Yandabas} paradedat the Bompai Headquarters of Kano state Police Command,today monday.On the 9th of July,Yandabas invaded a classroom in Rumfa college where Bashir and his colleagues were having a group discussion,maiming everyone on sight.According to the Police Public Relations officer of the Command,ASP Magaji Musa Majia,the hoodlums who stormed the school at about 10:00pm,were ''a gang of notorious Yandabas jointly from Gandun Albasa,Dan Agundi and Tukuntawa areas of Kano metropolis.They suddenly invaded the classroom and attacked them with cutlasses,knives,clubs and other dangerous weapons and inflicted various degrees of injuries on his head,chest and all over his body.They also broke his leg and abandoned him in his pool of blood.The gang further went on rampage and attacked MA

                  According to a Military and JTF source,a suicide bomber in a bus killed one member of Nigeria's civilian Joint Task Force {JTF} at the main checkpoint on the outskirts of the northeastern city of Maiduri today monday.A JTF member at the scene said that after passengers had left the bus,the driver drove forward to another inspection point at the Njimtilo checkpoint in the southwest of the city where he detonated the bomb.Three civilians were injured.There was no immediate claim for the attack but all fingers points to the Islamist terrorist group,Boko Haram

A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL ANDREA,DIED OF HEAT STROKE IN ROMANIA,WHILE WAITING FOR FREE WI-FI UNDER THE SUN.

                      According to sources,a teenager died of heatstroke after spending too long in the sun waiting for free wi-fi so she could use Facebook.The 14 year old girl was reportedly spent all day in the blistering heat before she died.Like many teens,using facebook was a big part of Andrea's life but the girl was from a poor Romanian Gypsy family,died after sitting for hours under the sun to use a free computer and internet access offered by the village hall.Andrea,from Domnesti in southern Romania,who had a pre-existing condition,collapsed on wednesday  after she suddenly started feeling unwell,and later died.Others who were waiting with her said that she had been sick and then fainted.Medics who arrived quickly said that she had suffered a cardiac arrest.Doctors tried to resuscitate her but failed.Her uncle who was with her at the time said ''She used to go in front of the town hall to get free wireless.She used it for facebook like most kids do.She told me she
