1-year-old boy drowns after falling into bucket of water in Anambra  A boy, 1, has d!ed after falling into a bucket of water in Nnewi, Anambra state. The child's parents reportedly left him in the care of his siblings when the tragedy occurred on Saturday,  Dec. 3. The siblings were busy playing when the child made his way to buckets of water arranged outside and fell into one. He was found too late. Videos shared online show loved ones praying for the boy to come back to life. No one is seen performing CPR in the video. Sadly, the boy died.  

Yobe North: Thousands of supporters welcomed Bashir Machina in Nguru town today as APC candidate after beating the Senate President both in federal high court and court of appeal.  Bashir was recieved by members of house of assembly, local government chairmen, among others.  The Senatorial candidate has flagged off his campaign in six local governments of the constituency.. 24hrs after Zulum’s visit, Solar System Installed at Maiduguri Hospital Less than 24 hours after a surprise visit by Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, a solar system as an alternative source of power, has been installed at Umaru Shehu Ultra Modern Hospital located around Bulumkutu axis in Maiduguri.  The system was installed on Saturday following a directive issued by Professor Zulum on Friday night when visited the hospital and met patients in darkness due to a blackout said to have been for a number of days.  Technicians of the State’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, carried out the installation under the directive of their Commissioner, Dr. Babagana Mustapha Mallambe, who first sought permission from his fellow Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Health.  A power system with relevant number of batteries and solar panels was fully installed with lights restored.  More sustainable measures are expected to combine with the solar s...

IMO PLAYS HOST TO THE BEST OF NOLLYWOOD AWARDS In yet another proof of safety and hospitality, Imo State has continued to play host to national events as the 2022 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards was held at Imo Concord Hotel in Owerri, Imo State. Governor Uzodimma who was the Chief Host handed out some of the awards of the night to some of the awardees in the Nigerian movie industry. The Governor commended the organizers for choosing Imo as their venue for this year's event.
