Police Kill Bandit, Arrest Two Others In Kaduna Kaduna Police Command said that its men have neutralised one bandit at Rigachikun Area of Chikun Local Government and arrested two others at Samina area. While noting that some of the suspected bandits escaped with bullet wounds, the Command stated an AK47 rifle, a locally fabricated General Purpose Machine Gun with 10 rounds of life ammunition was recovered by its men during the raid on the suspected criminals. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muhammad Jalige in a statement said operatives attached to Rigachikun Division on 14th January, 2023 at about 0100hours received a distressed call that armed bandits have invaded the residence of one Umar Ibrahim at Amana Maimadachi village with the view to carrying out nefarious activities. 🌹🛐Georgia releases official statement on passing of offensive lineman Devin Willock, staffer Chandler LeCroy According to a statement from the University of Georgia, offensive lineman Devin Willock and football staff member Chandler LeCroy died in a car accident. Two other members of the team were involved in the accident and are both in stable condition. 💌The school released a statement from Josh Brooks on the tragic accident. @joshgbrooks  “The entire Georgia family is devastated by the tragic loss of football student-athlete Devin Willock and football staff member Chandler LeCroy,” the statement read. “Two other members of the football program were injured in the accident. BLACK SUNDAY IN THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF MINNA.  It is indeed a Black Sunday for the Catholic Diocese of Minna and the entire kafin-Koro Deanery. Very Rev. Fr Isaac Achi was burnt to Ashes by Bandits in his Parish at kafin-Koro, Local Government, Niger State.  The most painful part of the attack which happened this early morning in the Catholic Church of Ss Peter and Paul is that they not only killed the parish priest, Rev Fr Isaac Achi, he was also set ablaze and burnt beyond recognition.  His assistant Fr Collins Omeh was shot and is in a very critical condition in the hospital. Please remember him in your prayers. May God console the Catholic diocese of Minna, the family members and the Catholic Church.  May God grant his soul eternal rest. Amen More photos below.

LASPPPA RESUMES ENFORCEMENT, SEALS ABANDONED FILLING STATION ON LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY   The Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) resumed its enforcement activities for the year 2023 during the week with the sealing of an abandoned filling station near Otedola Jubilee Estate Gate, Omole Phase II, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.   Speaking on the exercise, the General Manager of LASPPPA, Tpl. Nigeria Is Cursed With Bad Leadership - Father Mbaka The founder of Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka has stated that Nigeria is cursed with bad leadership, IGBERETV reports. Mbaka made this statement while delivering his first sermon at the Adoration ground on Friday. “Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with bad leadership,” he said. On his return from the monastery abroad, the priest said 2023 is a year of favour and prayed that his congregation would not labour in vain. Recall that the outspoken Catholic priest was moved out of the Adoration ministry following his suspension. On June 3, 2022, Fr. Mbaka was suspended by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. The supporters who are mostly young people, sustained injuries of varying proportions, while some regrettably lost their lives. The governorship candidate, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang (BCM), is deeply saddened by the unfortunate event, and is currently involved in evacuating those severely injured from different hospitals in Mangu, to Jos, where they would hopefully receive better attention and care. DRAMA AS 17-YEAR-OLD BOY ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY IMPREGNATING 10 LADIES IN RIVERS 15th January The Rivers State Police Command said it arrested a 17-year-old boy, Noble Uzuchi for allegedly impregnating 10 ladies. This was contained in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko on Friday. According to Iringe-Koko, the suspect was arrested alongside his accomplice, Chigozie Ogbonna, 29. It was gathered that the duo and two other ladies, Favour Bright and Peace Alikoi, were allegedly running a baby factory in the state. The police spokesperson said investigations revealed that when victims delivered their babies, the syndicate’s leader paid them N500,000 and thereafter sold off the newborn babies. Some of the babies previously delivered in the houses had already been sold. The Police Public Relations Officer revealed that the 10 pregnant ladies had been rescued after the raid and arrest of the two suspects.
