 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. PETROLEUM MINISTER DEZIANI,REDUCES PETROL PUMP PRICE FROM 97 TO 87 NAIRA PER LITRE.

                    Petroleum Minister Alison Madueke in a statement today sunday said ''As you may be aware,there has been a lot of volatility in the oil market in the past few months and due to this,the importation prices of our petroleum products have been impacted.Therefore,with the approval and directive of Mr President and by virtue of section 6 clause 1 of the Nigerian Petroleum Act,it is my responsibility as Minister of Petroleum Resources to hereby announce a reduction in the pump price of petroleum motor spirit {petrol} from the current ninety seven naira {97} per litre pump price down to eighty seven {87} naira per litre pump price,effective from twelve {12} midnighr sunday 18th of January 2015''.We thank God ohhhhhh.One more photo below.                                                       ...
