 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

TERESA GIUDICE FACES TWO YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

          RealHouse wives of New Jersey stars,Teresa Giudice and husband Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges on Tuesday.Teresa faces two years imprisonment while her husband faces four years imprisonment.They each pleaded guilty to several counts including bankruptcy fraud,conspiracy to commit mail fraud,wire fraud and failing to pay taxes.These took place at the Federal court house in Newark,New Jersey.Sentencing is set to take place on July 8.Their lawyer,Henry Klingman read a statement on Teresa's behalf after they left the court room saying ''Today i took responsibility for a series of mistakes i made several years ago,i am heart broken that this is affecting my family especially my four young daughters,who mean more to me than anything in the world''.More pictures below.

                                                                        A very close friend to Annjay,a female musician, told me that Annjay and 2short had a lash out at the making of 2short's new music video,on the 12 of February 2014,at Large House Visual studios at Mende Maryland,2short invited Annjay to feature in his new music video but when she got there it was not what they talked about that she saw,instead of appearing in the video,2short told her that she should hang around to know if the Director will consider her.Annjay, a 3 time award music winner,felt insulted,after waiting for four hours they are still considering her.She was so angry that she had an open confrountation with 2short.The confrountations did not end there,they both took to WHATSAPP to continue insulting themselves.Annjay told 2shorts that he is too full of himself why he replied by telling Annjay never to say such things again etc.Uptill date they are like sworn enemies.I have tried to contact 2shorts to

           News reaching my desk is that NNPC,Nigerian National Petroleeum Corporation has released 33 million litres of petroleum from its strategic reserves to marketers,supply fuel to Lagos.Dr Omar Farouk Ibrahim,Acting group manager,group public Affairs Division of the corporation,says,'' While we intensify our our on going direct monitoring of fuel stations across Lagos and its environments,we are providing the extra volume of product to eliminate the noticeable queues arising from the induced scarcity''.
