 NO ABANDONMENT, NO NEW AWARDS: FG SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON MOROCCO SCHOLARSHIPS The Federal Government has firmly debunked misleading narratives circulating in some quarters regarding Nigerian scholarship students in the Kingdom of Morocco, describing such claims as false, unfounded, and deliberately crafted to misinform the public. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has clarified that no Nigerian student on a valid Federal Government scholarship has been abandoned. All beneficiaries duly enrolled under the Bilateral Education Scholarship (BES) Programme prior to 2024 have received payments up to the 2024 budget year, in line with the Federal Government’s obligations. Any temporary delays in outstanding payments are attributable to fiscal constraints and are currently being addressed through ongoing engagements between the Federal Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.                     34 year old Beyonce and a mother of one was spotted with her husband Jay Z at the Mandalay Bay Events center in Las Vegas yesterday saturday night at the Miguel Cotto and Saul ''Canelo'' Alvarez boxing match.From the pictures,i don't think the black dress is really doing anything for her body,instead of it to give her that goddess look,she looked more like she wore her curtains and she decided to use sizzors to create a V cut.Her breast looks fake and i don't like the gown.Her husband Jay Z is looking very smart,he should keep it up.More photos below.                             

APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE IN KOGI STATE,CONFIRMED DEAD TODAY.

            According to Premium Timeswho confirmed from a close friend of Abubakar Audu said ''Audu is gone'',though his friend refused his name to be mentioned.His close friend said he was in the company of Audu when he passed on,Though his family has not given any official statement,to confirm his death.May his rest in peace,AMEN.

INEC DECLARES KOGI STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION,INCONCLUSIVE TODAY.

                    Today sunday,INEC {Independent National Electoral Commission} declared the governorship election held in Kogi state yesterday saturday as inconclusive.The Chief Returning Officer for the election,Prof.Emmanuel Kucha,who announced the results,said Audu had 240,867 votes,while the incumbent governor,Idris Wada scored 199,514.The difference between the two Major candidate was 41,353 votes.While announcing the INEC's decision on the poll,the returning officer quoted a relevant section of the Electoral Act,saying since the total number of cancelled vote exceeded the difference in votes between the two major candidates,the commission will order a supplementary poll in the affected areas.The total number of cancelled votes was 49,953.In the election,the APC candidate/defeated Wada in 16of the 21 local government areas in the  state.One more photo below.                   ...

MALI PRESIDENT IBRAHIM BOUBACAR,VISITED THE VICTMS OF FRIDAY TERRORIST HOTEL ATTACK.

              Yesterday saturday, Mali's President Ibrahim Boubacar visited people injured in friday's gun attack on one of the Malian capital's top hotel Raddison Blue Hotel,that left 19 people dead,including two gunmen.Speaking to reporters briefly after visiting the hotel yesterday saturday,Keita said the attack underscored the global threat posed by islamic extremists,especially coming just one week after teams of attackers from the Islamic state group in Paris killed 130 people while targeting a stadium,a concert hall,cafes and restaurants.A cook at the Bamako's Radisson Blu hotel has said he escaped the attack by extremists by jumping out the window after being shot at.One more photo below.                                                                           ...

GOVERNORS HAVE DECLARED WAR ON NIGERIAN WORKERS-NLC.

                        In a statement signed by its president,Comrade Ayuba Wabba,the NLC {Nigeria Labour Congress} said the declaration by the governors was an attempt to frustrate efforts by organised labour to table a proposal for a review of the current minimum wage which was signed in 2011.The NLC said it was prepared to fight any attempt to frustrate improved worker's welfare in the country,saying organised labour was ready to do battle to raise the living standard of Nigerian workers.The congress said ''The Nigeria Labour Congress is shocked by the Chairman of the Governor's forum,Governor Abdulaziz Yari,that the N18,000 National Minimum Wage promulgated into law in 2011 was no longer sustainable because of the fall in th price of crude oil.The governor who was speaking on behalf of his colleagues at the end of a meeting of the forum also claimed that the National Minimum Wage was imposed.We wish to make it abundantly c...
