 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.                          Osama bin Laden son Hamza bin Laden,promised to continue the global terrorist group's {al-Qaeda} fight against the United States and its allies in the 21-minute speech entitled ''We Are All Osama'.Hamza said to the press through an audio message posted on line.                     The three time world champion,who is now 75 years old married his girlfriend of six years,50 years old Marcia Cibele Aoki yesterday saturday at a small religious ceremony in Guaruja on the coast of Sao Paula,Brazil.The pair were due to marry a few years ago,but the wedding plans were stalled by Pele's health problem .The two of them met at a party in New York in the 1980's but only started dating in 2010 following a fluke meeting in a Sao Paulo elevator.Pele officially showed off his girlfriend at a football award ceremony in Monaco four years ago.This is his third time his getting married though other sources said he said he had found love this time with Marcia.More photos below.

                                       Tanzanian President John Magufuli welcomed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today sunday for bilateral talks.The two leaders agreed to deepen India-Tanzania ties in agriculture,food security,trade,natural gas and other vital sectors.They also agreed to work closely to combat the twin threats to terrorism and climate change.India handed over a navigational chart of Mkoani Harbour in Tanzania to Tanzanian authorities.The Indian Prime Minister left for Kenya,which is his African tour that has seen him in Mozambique and South Africa.More photos below.

SUICIDE BOMBERS,EXPLODES IN DAMBOA MOSQUES.{PHOTOS}.

                      2 days ago,at around 5.15am,two Boko Haram terrorists suicide bombers attacked Damboa.The first suicide bomber targeted Damboa Central Mosque but due to stringent security measures,he could not gain entry.Obviously frustrated,he exploded and died near the Central mosque.However,the second bomber veered off and gained entry into another smaller mosque and detonated the bomb killing himself and 6 other worshippers and injuring one other person.The wounded has been evacuated to a hospital while efforts are on to clear the rubbles.The troops and other security agencies have been mobilized to the area.In a related development,suspected elements of Boko Haram terrorists in a survival bid attacked Gaskeri village ahead of Dalori yesterday evening,where they killed 3 civilian vigilantes and looted foodstuffs.Troops have been mobilized and they are on the suspected terrorists trail.Similarly,as part of the efforts to ke...

                 The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George attended the first day of The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.The Air Tattoo is a fantastic family-orientated event,and The Duke and Duchess knew that George would enjoy seeing the aircraft up close.William,Kate and George took a closer look at a Royal Air Force Squirrel helicopter,which The Duke trained upon at RAF Shawbury in 2009,met Air Cadets and teams involved in the spectacular displays at the show,and even tried out a RAF Red Arrows Red Arrow Hawk for size.More photos below.                             B
