 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

A CRY FOR HELP FROM EZEOBI OKEKE.

                      Ezeobi Okeke 38years old,was living at close 39,house 2 Satelite town lagos ,where he lives with his family.He was forcefully thrown out by his landlady who broke into his apartment in his absent packed his property into a truck and took his property to an open field in Festac town,where she dumped.The woman according to him had orders from the court.Ezeobe was a tenant in that apartment untill November 8,2013,when he was suddenly ejected.Ezeobi claimed they have been in court but the ruled in his favour and ordered the landlady to allow Ezeobi to continue being her tenant.The landlady waited two years after the court case to strike.Ezeobi is now calling on the Human rights to come to his rescue because he feels his right had been trampled upon and the woman had gone against the ruling of the court that heard the matter in the first instance.

ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT VS PURE WATER PRODUCERS.

          Today Wednesday,the Anambra state House of Assembly has said it will call for the closure of sachet and table water companies in the state.The chairman of the House committee on Health,Dr.Emeka Aniebonam,said this in Awka today wednesday after an inspection of some sachet {pure}water processing plants in the state by his committee.He also said the discovery made by the committe was alarming when members of the committee visited operated under an unhygienic conditions,alleging the plants were producing unhygienic water for the public.The House committee said it would do a proper report and recommendation to the government after it would have completed a comprehensive inspection of the water plants in the state.To be honest,we should have it at the back of your mind,health is wealth not the other way round where sale is wealth.If you sell bad water to the public,remember you also have family members who may mistakenly drink the dirty water because of your greed so be wise and d

 These story is coined from a national news paper on how a Lagos high court sitting in Igbosere,on monday february 17,2014 sentenced Jamiu Seun Odunayo,a former Skye bank staff to one hundred and fifteen years {115} imprisonment with no option of fine over an offence of fraud,stealing and obtaining money by false pretence.During his working days as a staff of Skye bank,it was said that on the 7th of March 2011 in Lagos,he stole N848,690 property of Skye bank in which the money belongs to Skye bank customers.He spent the money on wedding and clubbing.,maybe he knew thats his last days of freedom.
