 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                           Some reporters after reading my blog post said they were present at the Airtel sponsored event which was held at Protea Hotel and Toyin Aimakhu was not endorsed as an Airtel Ambassador,that she lied about being paid N1.5 million for the gig.The reporters called her a liar and said we should advice her to stop spreading false rumours about herself.Na wahoooooooo.Read Toyin Aimakhu'S tweet again below.

D.N.A TEST ON DEAD BODIES FROM T.B JOSHUA COLLAPSE BUILDING STARTS TODAY.

                  The Lagos state government called for DNA samples from relatives of the deceased to be able to sort out the dead bodies before releasing them to their loved ones for burial.The government said relatives and family members of victims both locally and internationally must come forward to donate samples for the test.Commissioner for Health,Dr Jide Idris who disclosed this today friday at Alausa,Lagos,said early submission of samples would aid forensic identification and DNA analysis of recovered bodies.He said the state government considered it necessary to start forensic identification and  DNA analysis of the recovered bodies in view of the need to identify each of them.The submission of DNA samples starts today friday 26th of September at the Department of Forensic medicine at the Lagos state University Teaching Hospital LASUTH,Ikeja,to aid the forensic identification and DNA analysis of recovered bodies.

SUPPORTERS REJOICE AS LAGOS STATE SPEAKER IKUFORIJI,WAS ACQUITTED OF MONEY LAUNDERING CHARGES.

                  three years ago,the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC had accused the Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly,Adeyemi Ikuforiji  and Oyebode Atoyebi,his aide of laundering around N600 million but the two time speaker has now been discharged and acquitted.He was discharged and acquitted by Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court,Lagos.The Judge stated that the case which lasted for three years did not have enough evidence to prosecute Ikuforiji,noting that the prosecution only called two witnesses and that did not help much.''The Prosecution failed to prove its case''.Ikuforiji is now eligible to contest as a Governor in Lagos state 2015,though there are rumours that he will flag off his campaign in few weeks.One more picture below.
