 Noise pollution: Lagos seals five churches, 19 hotels The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has temporarily shut down no fewer than five churches and 19 hotels over noise pollution between March 23 and April 26  Calculations by our correspondent also showed that no fewer than four markets and shopping complexes were also shut down over noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The churches that have been temporarily sealed include St Monica’s Hall of Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Christ Rock of Fire Ministry, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, God’s Porch Ministries, and an unnamed Catholic Church Some of the hotels affected are School2bar, Blue Seasons Hotel and Suites, Sulerious Lakeside Hotel, Monero Hotel and Suites, and Lekki Hotel and Suites. BENUE EXCO APPROVES PARTIAL REOPENING OF SCHOOLS.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

      By Jimin Geoffrey Benue State Executive Council has approved the reopening of schools in compliance with the recommendations of the Presidential Tax Force on COVID-19. The State Executive Council has also approved a Public Private Partnership, PPP arrangement for the management of the Makurdi Modern Market. A statement by the Secretary to Anambra State government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said, “the curfew which has been in place in Awka South local government area following the reported increase in Covid-19 cases in the local government area has been reviewed and reduced by His Excellency, Chief Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra state.
