                 According to CCTV,entrepreneurs in Somali capital of Mogadishu have been ordered to remove English language signboards in a bid to protect the Somali language.Spokesperson for the Mayor Abdifirah Omar Halane said yesterday thursday that ''Residents are required to removed signs written in English from their businesses in the capital.The order is aimed at promoting the Somali language''.Those refusing to obey can be fined or jailed,said Ahmed Abdulle Afrah,district commissioner of Wadajir,one of the 17 districts in the capital.The statement further said ''Somalia belongs to Somalis,and we have to protect our culture and language...Our language has been dominated by the English language''.Though people are criticizing the new law saying that ''We can show love for our country by being honest,by paying taxes in time.But by obeying bad laws like bans on other languages,you would look like a racist''.More photos below.   ...

                       According to the Nigeria Police Force,on the 9th of February 2016,at 01:30pm,while the Police patrol team were on duty along Iyara by Sido Junction,Warri Delta State.They intercepted a suspected Toyota Corolla car with Registration number Lagos APP 403 BC.The occupants of the vehicle on sighting the Police patrol vehicle driving behind their vehicle jumped out of the said vehicle and took to their heels abandoning the vehicle.On searching the vehicle,a locally made pistol,one Nokia phone and an Ecobank cheque book bearing the name Unaegbu Margret were recovered.Preliminary investigation revealed that the car was snatched from the said Margaret Unaegbu on 8th February,2016 at about 07:30am,at Emeberi Road,by Eyasa Junction,Okumagba Layout,Warri.Investigation is still in progress.Meanwhile on the same 9th of February,2016 at 05:00 am,coalition of teams that responded to a distress call at Ibandan Waterside,...

                     Today friday can be labelled as black friday,after a multiple collisions occurred today along Oyo-Ogbomoso route at Oweyo village,15km from Oyo.It was reported by the Federal Road Safety Corps {FRSC} that ''1 male adult fatality and 4 male adults injuries were recorded in a multiple crash that occured on 12/02/16,0223hrs along Oyo-Ogbomoso route at Oweyo village,15 km from Oyo.The vehicles involved were an Iveco Tubor and Mitsubishi Cabster.The victims were taken to the State Hospital,Oyo''.More photos below.
