                   Actress Angelina Jolie who graced the cover of Vanity Fair,December issue,told the magazine she believes her Hollywood career may hinder the possibility of seeking an elected or appointed office.She said ''When you work as a humanitarian,you are conscious that politics have to be considered because if you really want to make am extreme change,then you have a responsibility.But i honestly don't know in what role i would be more useful.I am conscious of what i do for a living,and that could make it less possible.I am open,and being married does feel different,it feels nice to be husband and wife.Our children did not expect us never to fight,but they made us promise to always say sorry''.More photos below.

                                 21 years old Laura Holmes,said she feared she and her unborn baby would die when an American Akita dog,belonging to her best friend Tracie Taylor,attacked her while she sat and sending a text message.The dog jumped on her and tore her face,ripping chunks of flesh from her mouth and cheeks,leaving her with 60 stitches.Her friend tried to drag the dog off her and only succeeded when they repeatedly kicked the dangerous dog,which was later killed.The dog's owner has become the first in Britain to be prosecuted under tough new laws after failing to control the seven stone Akita dog.Miss Holmes,who is from Nottingham,was rushed to Queen's medical centre,where surgeon's battled to save her face and her baby.She gave birth through C-section because doctors felt she may not be able to withstand the pain of a natural birth due to her injuries.Her baby is now 15 weeks old.Her best...

            Governor of Lagos state Raji Fashola has queried the disappearance of 1.447,804million voters from the Lagos voter's list and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC,to explain the disappearance,before the distribution of the Permanent Voters card in Lagos.This came about as the governor declared these friday as holiday for all servants,to enable them collect their Permanent Voters Card.The distribution of the cards kicks off in Lagos on friday and will end on sunday.Fashola said ''I am concerned about the report of 4.8 million voters in Lagos state.INEC owes us explanation.During the last election,the voters list in Lagos was 6,247,845 voters.We want to know how 1,447,804 million voters disappeared from the voters list.I am worried whether this is the beginning of a plan to disenfranchise Lagosian's to vote.Our government will stand for all eligible voters to have their names in the register unless INEC could prove why thei...
