Dorit Kemsley, a star of the Bravo reality television show “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” was robbed of about $1 million in valuables during a home invasion on Wednesday evening, multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation said.   On Wednesday, at about 10:50 p.m. local time, officers responded to a report of a home invasion on the 17000 block of Adlon Road in Encino, the law enforcement sources told NBC News. The victim told the responding officers that “two or three men” had broken into the house by smashing a rear window and proceeded to go upstairs where they confronted the victim in bed. The victim told authorities the men claimed to be armed, ordered her out of bed and demanded her to lead them to jewelry and other valuables around the house, the sources said.  Five Jailed For Impersonation in Ibadan  Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 convicted five internet fraudsters for criminal impersonation. The convicts, Ogunbayo Peter Oluwatobiloba (aka Racheal Brinkley), Charles Jude Albert, Kolawole Bankole Opeyemi, Bello Tobiloba Abdullahi and Obitokun olugbade Solomon were found guilty of  impersonation, an offence which contravenes section 22(2)(b)(1) of the Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc) Act 2015 and punishable under section 22(2)(b) of the same Act.  Bello and kolawole were convicted and sentenced to ten months imprisonment each; Ogunbayo, nine months; Obitokun, eight months, while Albert was sentenced to five months in prison.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it will not deploy personnel and materials to eighty six polling units, representing one point five percent of polling units out of the five thousand, seven hundred and twenty polling units in the State as they have no voters.  The Chairman,  INEC,  Professor Mahmood Yakubu,  who stated this at a special consultative meeting with political parties,  noted that election will however, be held in eight hundred and ninety four, that is fifteen point six percent of the polling units which have between one and four voters.  He reassured ndi Anambra that the Commission is prepared for the Governorship election next weekend as they have transferred all non-sensitive materials for the election to the twenty one Local Government  Areas of the State.  The INEC boss revealed that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, is handling the delivery of sensitive materials to the State on schedule while the Commission's State office in Awka is arran

 TROOPS NEUTRALISE BNG GUNMAN  ...Recover Arm, Vehicles Troops conducting Exercise GOLDEN DAWN have neutralised one of the Biafran National Guard gunmen who attacked troops' location at Amaekpu, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State on Thursday 28 October 2021. The assailants, who were heavily armed and conveyed in several vehicles opened fire on the troops' location, but were met with stiff resistance by the troops. In the encounter, the troops neutralized one gunman, while others abandoned their vehicles and retreated in disarray with gunshot wounds. The troops also recovered   a pump action gun, among others.  KDSG Security Update: Friday 29th October 2021 Several bandits eliminated in Chikun, Igabi LGAs - Bandit's spouse, marabout, suspected collaborators arrested Security forces have reported that several bandits were eliminated, and camps destroyed, during clearance operations in Igabi and Chikun local government areas.  According to the reports, clearance operations were conducted in Faka, Katuka, Barebari and Maguzawa general areas, spanning Chikun and Igabi LGAs. An unconfirmed number of bandits were sighted on the high ground across the Maguzawa river; they were engaged by a NAF attack helicopter, and neutralized.  Furthermore, the security forces conducted clearance patrols to Katuka, about 9km from Kangon Kadi in Chikun LGA. Two operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) were killed on Friday in Anambra. The officers were attacked as gunmen ambushed their convoy while on election campaign duty in Ekwulobia. Videos showing the aftermath of the attack are circulating on social media. The footages and photos show the extent of firepower against the security agents as bullets riddled windshields of vehicles. Joint forces comprising the police and the military have taken over the area. The bodies of the deceased were hurriedly taken away from the scene as several residents converged. Attacks in Anambra are on the rise ahead of the November 6 governorship election.

The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Oladayo Amao has pledged the support of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to the Ministry of Defence Implementation and Advisory Committee as it executes the recommendations of the Committee earlier set up to reform the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) for effective and efficient service delivery.
