ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. EFCC ARRAIGNS LAWYER FOR CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST AND CONVERSION OF FUNDS TODAY.{PHOTO}.

       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Office, on Friday, 2nd March, 2018, arraigned a legal practitioner, Rose-Marie Iwezie, before Justice Tukur of the Kaduna State High Court on a one count charge of criminal breach of trust and conversion of funds to the tune of N4 million. The petitioner alleged that sometimes in April 2016, he instructed Rose Marie Iweze to sell his prope rty located on ring road unguwar rimi, Kaduna, at the rate of N30 million. After selling the property, the accused remitted the sum of N26 million to him leaving a balance of N4 million and all efforts to get her pay his remaining balance proved abortive. Investigations revealed that Rose Marie Iweze, a lawyer practicing under the name of Rose Marie Iweze & Co. plot G5, Ahmadu Bello Way, Kaduna, had indeed sold the property at the agreed price of N30 million in February 2017; and the money paid through her firms account domiciled in Union Bank but re...

       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, arraigned one Chimezie Chuta before Justice Mojisola Dada of the State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on a one-count charge bordering on stealing to the tune of $56,000.00 (Fifty-six Thousand United States Dollars).        The Duke of Cambridge launched a new Heads Together &   Mind workplace mental health initiative. The new initiative will consist of a 'Mental Health at Work' website and online training that will equip workplaces with tools, training and a good understanding of mental wellbeing in order to create a healthy and supportive working environment. The visit started with The Duke of Cambridge taking part in a roundtable discussion about the current workplace mental health landscape. His Royal Highness learnt about recent research conducted by mental health charity Mind into the subject of workplace mental health.       The Lagos State Government on Thursday arraigned 70 suspected cultists before Chief Magistrate Olufunke Sule-Amzat of the Ogudu Magistrate Court for conspiracy to commit a felony and for holding a meeting of an unlawful society suspected to be AIYE Confraternity. The 70 suspected cultists, with ages ranging between 19 and 40 years were arraigned on a three-count charge by the Directorate of Public Prosecution in the State Ministry of Justice. They were earlier arrested by officers of the State Police Command who acted promptly on a tipoff given by members of the public on 23rd February 2018 at about 2 am, where the suspected cultists at Elemoro area of Ajah were caught holding a meeting of the unlawful society of AIYE confraternity.       Exercises AYEM AKPATUMA (Cat Race) has continue to record tremendous success as herdsmen are being arrested destroying farmland and large number of weapons recovered in different locations where the exercise is conducted. Troops of Sub-Sector A, deployed at Yelwata while on routine patrol along road Gbajimba-Kaseyo-Awe in Benue State, arrested 4 herdsmen gra zing in farmland on Wednesday 28 February 2018. Four cutlasses were recovered from the herdsmen.
