EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

ANGRY TRANSGENDERS,CONFRONTS CAITLYN JENNER YESTERDAY ''YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO REPRESENT US''.

                   66 year old Caitlyn Jenner,was confronted yesterday thursday at a luncheon held by an LGBT Charity in Chicago and attempted to engage with the protester as she left,sparking a confrontation which was caught on camera.They were shouting slogans such as ''You are an insult to trans people,you are an insult to women''.Protester used a loud speaker to make their feelings known.Caitlyn had earlier given the keynote address to an audience of 1,000 at the Speaker Series luncheon for the Chicago House.Thee charity provides social services for those affected by HIV/AIDS and other LGBT issues.The protest group,calling itself ''I Ain't Cait'',explained in a mission statement that Caitlyn's wealth made her unrepresentative of the average member of the trans community.More photos below.

                     Today friday,it was reported that Western diplomats have banned Kenyan leaders from travelling to Europe and America following the recent cases of corruption in the country.Kenyan Cabinet ministers have been named in various  scandals making news in the country including some buying a pen for 85 dollars among other unexplained expenditure.Today friday, according to an official of the Moscow Domodedovo airport said ''Russian aviation agency {Rosaviatsia} has banned flights by Egypt Air,Egypt's state owned flag carrier,to Russia,effective November 14''. A SCHOOL BUS CARRYING CHILDREN,CRASHED & CAUGHT FIRE TODAY IN SOUTH AFRICA.

                                          Today friday in South Africa,a bus carrying Children crashed and caught fire on the N3 highway which connects warden and Harrismith,free state,South Africa.2 students were transported to nearby hospital with critical injuries,while 4 other children had serious injuries while 17 others were treated for minor injuries.According to Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha who confirmed th e crash said ''The fire has now been put out by the fire brigade but there are two children that are uncounted for and rescue workers are currently searching for them in the wreckage''.More photos below.                                                                                                                                                

7 BOKO HARAM FIGHTERS,KILLED BY THE NIGERIAN ARMY IN BORNO STATE.

             Today friday,it was reported by the Nigerian that the army has repelled an attack from Islamist group Boko Haram in the town of Gwoza,Borno state,killing seven militants.An army statement said that in the two hour fight,which started at 04:00 GMT,seven Boko Haram fighters were killed and weapons were captured.''The desperate attack today was a failed attempt to project an image of strenght''.One more photo below.                                                                                                        

ABOUT 10 THOUSAND PRO-BIAFRA MEMBERS,DEMONSTRATED TODAY IN OWERRI FOR NNAMDI KANU.

           As early as 6:am today friday,about 10 thousand members of the Indigenous People of Biafra {IPOB} trekked from Aba in neighbouring Abia state and Port Harcourt,apparently to beat security checks,were converged at strategic position in the state capital from where they linked up with their  members on ground to begin the protest.Although there was heavy security presence,including battle ready soldiers and heavily armed mobile policemen who drove behind the protesters in their vehicles.There was obvious anxiety among the residents as shop owners hurriedly locked up their shops,while motorists parked out of the road to make way for the road to make way for the long procession.They were chanting ''FG Free Nnamdi Kano now,Kanu is Biafra and we are Kanu''.One more photo below.
