PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES . (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. MELISSA RIVERS,PLANS TO SUE THE CLINIC WHERE HER LATE MOTHER JOAN RIVERS WENT INTO CARDIAC ARREST.

              Late Fashion Police host Joan Rivers daughter Melissa Rivers,plans to sue the clinic where her mother stopped breathing.Joan Rivers who died on September 4 in New York city,a week after she went into cardiac and respiratory arrest in the middle of a routine throat surgery.Melissa Rivers feels that suing Yorkville Endoscopy LLC is the only way forward,after being told by lawyers that without a lawsuit,she won't be able to find out what led to her mother's death.Melissa is frustrated at this point and she wants doctos and other staff at the clinic to take part in the depositions and explain what happened to Joan under oath.A close friend of their family claimed the alleged decision comes shortly after the clinic was deemed deficient in four major categories required for accreditation following an investigation by the New York state Health Department.More photos below.                                                                                                    

GHANA PRESIDENT JOHN MAHAMA,VISITED THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND TODAY.

                 President of Ghana John Damani Mahama and his wife Lordina Mahama visited the Queen of England immediately after Queen Elizabeth and her husband bid farewell to Singapore's President Tony Tan Keng Yam who has been on a four day state visit to the U.K.88 year old Queen of Elizabeth was seen greeting the President of Ghana and his wife in her study at Buckingham palace.President John Dramani chatted informally with the Queen about issues surrounding Ghana,which is a member of the Common Wealth .He also presented the Queen with his book ''My First Coup d'etat'',which chronicles his own story of growing up in Ghana during the dismal post independence ''Lost Decades'',of Africa.More photos below.              

RWANDA PRESIDENT ENDS EBOLA TRAVEL RESTRICTION ON U.S AND SPAIN.

                    Today thursday,Rwanda President Paul Kagame,told the health minister to lift the ebola travel restrictions on travellers who had been in the United States and Spain,''That is not necessary''.The Health minister of Rwanda Agnes Binagwaho had early this week ordered all travellers who had been in the United States Spain within the past three weeks to send updates to her ministry each day they are in Rwanda but President Paul Kagame tweeted that the restrictions had been lifted,adding that the minister had ''Sometimes acted first and though later,where as it should be the other way round''.Rwanda citizens who have traveled to the three West African countries are placed under quarantine on arrival.More photos below.                           

OYO STATE COMMISSIONER FOR HEALTH,CONFIRMS LASSA FEVER OUTBREAK IN THEIR STATE.

                       According to Oyo state Commissioner for Health Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin,has confirmed the out break of Lassa fever in their state but he is assuring their citizen that the government is on top of the situation as well as curtailing it.For now the government of Oyo state is only aware of 10 cases and out of the 10 cases,three were brought into the state from another state.He said ''We are already working to bring it under control.We are doing the best to curtail it.We have what it takes to manage it very well.I only want to appeal to our people to be very hygienic and when they feel that something is wrong with our system,we should go to the hospital for proper diagnosis of their sickness and treatment.Most of this black rats in our houses don't have this virus.Most of the rats with this virus are from the bush.There are farmers who in the process of making cassava flour will cut their cassava and spread them on the road.When these rats see this cassava th

A NIGERIAN DOMINIC ADESANYA,CLIMBED THE FENCE OF THE WHITE HOUSE AND WAS ARRESTED BY THE SECRET SERVICE.

                  Yesterday wednesday,a 23 year old Nigerian man,climbed the fence of the United State White House and was nabbed by the Secret Service Agents,and their dogs.According to a spokesman for the Elite Agency he said ''A suspect who climbed over the White House fence wednesday was nabbed by Secret Service agents and dogs.A approximately 7:16pm {1116 GMT} an individual climbed the north fence line of the White House,the individual was immediately taken into custody on the north lawn of the White House by Secret Service Uniformed Division K-9 teams and Uniformed Division officers.The fence climber was identified as 23 year old Dominic Adesanya from Marlyland near the US capital.Charges are pending.Adesanya was unarmed at the time of his arrest.The subject is being transported to a local hospital for evaluation''.Dominic Adesanya's father later told ABC 2 that his son had been arrested at the White House before and that he wanted to speak to the President ab

5 PEOPLE DEAD,12 WOUNDED AS A BOMB EXPLODED IN A BUS STATION IN BAUCHI.

                  Late wednesday night,a bomb exploded at a bus station in Bauchi state,killing at least five people and wounding 12.All fingers are pointed at the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram,though the police did not comment on who was behind the attack.Bauchi Police Spokesman Haruna Mohammed said in a statement  that ''Five persons burnt beyond recognition were certified dead,while 12 others sustained various degrees of injuries.The entire surrounding has been cordoned off.No arrest has yet been made,but an investigation has commenced''.One more picture below.
