SENATOR ABARIBE’S CALL ON PRESIDENT BUHARI TO RESIGN IS FOOLISH.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
President Buhari to resign on what basis? Just because some characters think that President Buhari should resign, then they expect him to quit. That call does not represent the opinion of the country. This is the opinion of an arm chair critic, known for making stray comments. If a leader like President Buhari needs to resign, there are millions of other Nigerians who need to resign, including Senator Abaribe who unlocked the door to enable the escape of traitorous and treasonable suspects. He signed the bond for the court to release Nnamdi Kanu on bail, from which moment the suspect disappeared into the thin air. Senator Abaribe has failed repeated deadlines to return Kanu to the court for trial, yet he has the effrontery with which to accuse someone of failing to the bidding of the law. This is a man who should have replaced the suspects he failed to produce in the correctional facility. Abaribe’s party raped the nation and left it collapsing in 2015 and Pres

INSECURITY: BUHARI'S ''SURPRISED'' COMMENT SHOWS HE IS OVERWHELMED,HAS NO SOLUTIONS-PDP BACKS CALLS FOR HIS RESIGNATION.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
January 29. 2020 Press Statement The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the comments by President Muhammodu Buhari expressing surprise at the heightened insecurity across the country as defeatist, demoralizing and traumatizing. The PDP states that by this comment, President Buhari has displayed a disheartening dereliction of duty, directly admitted that he is overwhelmed and lacks the required capacity to articulate and implement any solutions to the escalated insurgency, banditry, kidnapping, bloodletting and increased wave of violence under his administration. Our party holds that such a statement from a Commander-in-Chief, who promised to lead from the front, is distressing as it further exposes an abdication of duty and shows that Mr. President is not even abreast of his major task in governance which is the security of lives and property. The PDP is particularly worried over this apparent display of leadership failure as Mr. President ought to be

IMO ASSEMBLY: DEFECTORS HAVELOST THEIR SEATS-PDP.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

Image
January 29, 2020 Press Conference The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received reports that some members of the Imo state House of Assembly elected on the platform of our great party, have decided to abdicate the mandate they hold on the pedestal of our party, to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC), ostensibly for their very selfish gains. The PDP describes such action as unpatriotic and an unpardonable betrayal of the people of their respective constituencies who chose and identified with the ideal and visions of the PDP as the platform for their representation at the state assembly. The defectors have indeed shown absolute lack of character, failure of leadership capacity in moments of challenges and absence of faith to stand with the people in their most trying moment, but are easily bought by personal pecuniary and political interests. The PDP holds that these defectors are fully aware of the grave implication of their act

SURVIVING SUICIDAL THOUGHT WITH EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE BY EBERE FLORENCE NNANWUBE.{PHOTOS}.

Image
If everyone agrees that the recent recurrent suicide rate among Nigerian youths has become a social concern, then we should also agree that a tenable solution to this menace lies in teaching undergraduate students the art of managing their emotions by cultivating emotional intelligence. It is on record that many youths, especially tertiary institution undergraduates, do not know how to handle critical life issues like relationship break ups, rejection by peers, exam failures, gang bullying, drug use and abuse, rape, amongst others. Emotional intelligence, also called Emotional Quotient (EQ) concerns being able to understand, use and manage one’s emotions in positive ways in order to obtain positive outcomes such as relieving stress, communicating effectively, empathizing with other people, overcoming challenges and diffusing conflict. EQ plays out in four major attributes, namely: self-management, self-awareness, social awareness, and relationship management. Self-management:T
