  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. MUSLIM PROTESTERS IN NIGER,SET CHURCHES ON FIRE OVER THE PROPHET MOHAMMAD CARTOON SKETCHED BY CHARLIE HEBDO.

                 This protest is getting out of hand as stones and fire are being thrown at innocent churches that did not take part in sketching the Charlie Hebdo's cartoons he drew about the Prophet Mohammed,today saturday in Niger Republic.Yesterday friday,five people were killed in Niger in protest over the cartoons of Prophet Mohammed and protesters in Niamy attacked a police station and burnt atleast two police cars near the main mosque after authorities banned a meeting called by local Muslim leaders.Police actually responded with teargas on the protesters.Amadou Abdoul Ouahah,a protester who took part in the demonstration said ''They offended our Prophet Mohammed,that's what we didn't like''.Four Muslim preachers who had convened the meeting in Niamy were arrested.Protesters also burnt the French flag and set up road blocks on streets in town center but no casualties for now were reported today saturday.More photos below.   ...
