 King Charles III to resume public duties next week after cancer treatment The British monarch, King Charles III, will resume his public duties next week following a three-month break to focus on his treatment and recuperation. A few months ago, the British monarch was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and has been receiving treatment. However, Buckingham Palace on Friday said the monarch would be visiting a cancer treatment centre on Tuesday, the first of several public appearances he will make in the coming weeks. According to the palace, one of his first major engagements will be to host a state visit by the emperor and empress of Japan in June. The palace didn’t provide an update on the king’s treatment but said his medical team is “very encouraged by the progress made so far and remains positive about the king’s continued recovery.” Charles continued his state duties, including reviewing government documents and meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, after his diagnos

NIGERIA TROOPS ARRESTED 4 CHILD TRAFFICKERS IN YOBE STATE.{PHOTOS}.

                                                     Troop of Bravo Company,120 Battalion,27 Task Force Brigade,Nigerian Army on friday 16th June 2017,while on routine patrol intercepted 4 child traffickers at Katarko.The suspects were intercepted while conveying 19 under aged children from Potiskum to Garin Tuwo,Bungai and Buni Yadi in Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State and Galarabala in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.Both the suspected traffickers and their victims have been moved to the Brigade Headquarters for transfer to National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person {NAPTIP}. NIGERIAN ARMY ARRESTED A SUSPECTED BOKO HARAM TERRORIST IN GUYA BAUCHI STATE.{PHOTOS}.

                                           Following a tip off,troops of 33 Brigade Nigerian Army at Yuga,Toro L;ocal Government Area of Bauchi State,on friday 16th June 2017 arrested a suspected Boko Haram terrorist,Aliyu Ahmed {alias Aliko} hiding in the village.He was found to be in possession of 1 Single barrel gun and 1 Dane gun.During Preliminary interrogation,he confessed that he actively participated in several Boko Haram terrorists attack and also owned an AK-47 Rifle which lost during one of the attacks they carried out in 2016,His interrogation continued.                   There is considerable progress in the implementation of the Special Relief Intervention an initiative launched in Maiduguri by the Federal Government on June 8 to deliver effective and comprehensive humanitarian aid especially food to persons displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-East,according to an update report made to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo,SAN on Friday.The initiative which is part of a broad plan to address food shortage in the campss and other settlements of displaced persons,is now delivering assorted grains to internally displaced {through over 1000 trucks} and already have reached 12,691 households in Borno State since the flag off by the Acting President on June 8.According to the update presented by the implementation team,the issue of diversion of relief materials including food and related matters which has dogged foo delivery to the IDPs would be significantly curbed under the new distribution matrix adopted under the initiative.Fo
