 ANAMBRA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL INSPECTS NEW HIGH COURT COMPLEX: EXPRESSES SATISFACTION  By Chinelo Okeke  The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Anambra State, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, on  Monday, June 1st, 2026, conducted an inspection visit to the state's new High Court building,Complex currently under construction behind the Judiciary Headquarters off Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka. Nweke led the team of Commissioners that accompanied him to the inspection which are Arch. Henry Arinze, Commissioner for Housing, with Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, Commissioner for Physical and Urban Development. Attorney General toured the facility and expressed strong satisfaction with the progress and quality of work on the project. Speaking during the inspection, Nweke described the structure as solid and befitting of a modern judicial institution. LADY STABBED TO DEATH YESTERDAY DURING EARLY MORNING EXERCISE IN ANAMBRA.{GRAPHIC PHOTOS}.

       Friends and family have been left heartbroken over to the death of a lady simply identified as Oluchi. It was gathered that the deceased, a popular makeup artist – was stabbed to death yesterday during an early morning exercise/jogging in Awka, Anambra state capital. Though the main reason for the attack on the beautiful lady is yet to be determined, but it was revealed that she passed away instantly after being stabbed. Her corpse has been deposited at the mortuary. A Facebook user Chibuike Igwe posted; What a wicked world. Can you believe she is no more. The pictures attached to this post is my friend, a smart hard working lady with great sense of humor .. She was stabbed to death while doing early morning exercise.
