 New Head of Service Urges Anambra Civil Servants to Embrace Efficiency and Accountability ‎ ‎By Chizoba Njaka  ‎ ‎The newly appointed Head of Service in Anambra State, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, has called on civil servants to shift towards efficiency and accountability, promising improvements in welfare.  ‎ ‎Addressing staff at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat Complex in Awka, Iwouno outlined her vision for a professional, merit-based, and citizen-centered service that aligns with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's goals. ‎ ‎Iwouno emphasized that her mission is not just a statement, but a call to action, demanding sincerity and commitment from all workers. She expressed disappointment with the recent governor's visit, which revealed empty offices during working hours, and stressed that absenteeism, lateness, and poor attitudes are unacceptable. ‎ ‎The Head of Service pledged to improve welfare, including fixing ministry vehicles, and mandated that Wednesday 1st April , 2026 will be clean...

              After Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013,there was no activity in the file for over a year,to the points that the judge threatened to dismiss the case.So today it was reported that last week friday,Khloe and Lamar both signed a legal document that will officially end their marriage.The court records showed that the documents were filed with the court on friday.All that is left is a judge's signature before they will be officially divorced.Everybody thought that they might reconcile but it turns out the doors of reconciliation have been shut to their marriage.Well i wish them all the best in their single life ahead.

              In a recent article in the Washington Post,President Muhammadu Buhari explains why he has not appointed his cabinet more than three months after sworn into office as the President.In the article,he said he needed time to root out corruption before naming his ministers.''Nigeria must first put new rules of conduct and good governance in place.When cabinet ministers are appointed in September,it will be some moths after i took the oath of office.It would have been neither prudent nor serve the interests of sound governments sooner.People in positions of power under previous administrations had been able to plunder state coffers with impunity.The fact that i now seek Obama's assistance in locating and returning $150 billion in funds stolen in the past decade and held in foreign bank accounts on behalf of former,corrupt officials is testament to how badly Nigeria has been run''.

                    The Nigerian police is really working as a Police Patrol team attached to the Ajegunle Division while on patrol along Iba road on the 19th of July,2015 at about 12:40pm intercepted an armed robbery gang attacking a male victim at the C-Best Filling Station,Onikade area Iba.One of the hoodlums{a male} was arrested at the scene and one locally made pistol with live cartridges were recovered from him.Other gang members fled the scene on a motorcycle reg.LSD-100-QF.The victim was safely rescued from the hoodlums,efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects are being intensified.Wow i am impressed with our Nigerian police.

                President Obama is due to give a lecture at the Kenyatta university located at Thika Road.Suddenly today tuesday,President Obama's Marine One and three Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft that will carry naval SEALs landed at the Kenyatta University {KU} compound as part of the preparations for the trip.Marine one is the call sign of any United States marine corps aircraft carrying the president of the United States.President Obama is usually flown in one of the helicopters that landed at the Kenyatta University today.President Obama will on sunday give a lecture to members of Parliament as well as women,youth and student leaders driving to the Safaricom stadium,Kasarani for the public talk.More photos below.

BOKO HARAM SUNDAY ATTACK ON CAMEROON,LEFT 23 PEOPLE DEAD.

               According to the residents of the affected areas,said yesterday monday that suspected Boko Haram militants have killed more than 20 people including multiple children in their latest attack on northern Cameroon.They took the few soldiers posted at the targeted village by surprise.According to Pastor Edward Ngosu a Nigerian missionary who has been based in the village for four years said ''More than 80 assailants stormed the village of Kamouna,located near Lake Chad in the northern part of Cameroon that lies between Nigerian and Chad,on sunday night.Only seven soldiers were present at the time,and they were quickly overwhelmed.They began shooting in the air to scare the attackers,but were unsuccessful and 23 people were killed''.Residents had asked the military for more protection last week after suspected Boko Haram fighters conducted a raid near the village and stole livestock.Communications Minister Issa Tchiroma Bakary said yeste...
