EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

EX-SUPER EAGLES COACH 'STEVEN KESHI',DIED VERY EARLY TODAY WEDNESDAY MORNING.#RIP.

                           54 year old Ex Super Eagles Coach Steven Keshi,died very early today wednesday morning in Benin.He was confirmed dead by Ben Olaiya.Ademola Olajire,an Assistant Director of Communication in the Nigeria Football Federation,said that Keshi died after he was rushed to an hospital in Benin after complaining of his legs.He said that Keshi had problems with his legs and that he could not stand for long.,while another source is saying that Big Boss as his fondly called was having irregular heart beats and he advised him to go to the hospital.May his soul rest in peace,Amen.More photos below.                                                                                                                     

SOMEONE THREW FIRE-BOMB INTO THE KARDASHIAN BOUTIQUE 'DASH' YESTERDAY IN WEST HOLLYWOOD.{PHOTOS}.

                    According to sources,a shop in Los Angeles owned by Kim Kardashian and her sisters has been targeted by vandals,who tried to fire-bomb it.A lone attacker hurled a Molotov cocktail at the Dash boutique in West Hollywood,which opened 10 years ago,but it failed to ignite.Kim,Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are joint owners of the store,which last year began offering personal styling.Lieutenant Edward Ramirez said a witness saw a man throw a flaming object through thrr front window of the store on Melrose Boulevard after closing time yesterday monday.He said the boutique did not catch fire and there was no damage to any property inside.Investigators said the object hurled through the window was heavy and wrapped in cloth.It is not known if the attacker had a personal grudge against the Kardashians or had targeted their store at random.More photos below.                

NIGERIAN RESIDENT DOCTORS,TO BEGIN NATIONWIDE STRIKE ON THURSDAY.

                                   According to the National President Dr Muhammad Askira, who said today tuesday in Kano that on thursday June 9,2016,the National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria {NARD} will start a nationwide strike.The National President said the decision was taken at the ordinary general meeting of the National Executive Council of the association held between May and June 5 in Jos.He said ''16 out of 58 federal tertiary institutions or centres were exempted from the initial centre based strike for commitment of the Chief Medical Director of the hospitals to implement the Federal Government's directives.''.He said if by midnight on sunday,June 19,their demands were not met,all the members of the association,including those exempted,would join the indefinite nationwide strike.Askira said the association found it necessary to take the painful decision following the inability of the government to meet its demands.''Due to the fail

U.S EMBASSY TO NIGERIA,SUPPORTS DIALOGUE WITH THE NIGER DELTA AVENGERS.

                                                    Today tuesday,the U.S Embassy to Nigeria expressed concern over the reports of attacks and other incidents in the Niger Delta.This is contained in a statement issued by the Embassy's Public Affairs Unit in Abuja.''The U.S remains supportive of efforts,including the promotion of dialogue,to address grievances in the Niger Delta''.It appealed to all parties to resolve their disputes through peaceful means and emphasize that human rights of all Nigerians must be protected.It called on all Nigerians to persevere in efforts to achieve common goals.It stressed on the need to end violence and curb the activities of criminal elements.It called for the establishment of conditions and mechanisms for profound,positive and lasting changes in the region.According to the statement,there is the need for the provision of economic opportunity and the needed services for residents of the Niger Delta.

                 Muhammad Ali's younger and only brother Rahaman wept as he was surrounded by mourners at a memorial service for the late boxing legend in King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville,US during a tribute to the heavyweight champion who died on friday night at the the age of 74.Although Muhammad Ali was a proud Muslim,he went with his father to church worship occasionally.it will be very painful to lose a sibling no matter how old they are.More photos below.                                                                                                             

EX-PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S COUSIN ''AZIBAOLA'',REMANDED IN PRISON TODAY FOR DIVERTING $40 MILLION.{PHOTOS}.

                Justice Nnamdi O. Dimgba of the Federal High Court,Abuja today tuesday June 7,2016 ordered the remand of Azibaola Robert ,a cousin of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan in Kuje Prison Pending the determination of the bail application.Azibaola and his wife Stella,were arraigned alongside their company,One Plus Holding Limited on a seven 7 count charge bordering on money laundering,criminal breach of trust and corruption by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.The couples were alleged to have diverted $40million {forty million US dollars} purportedly meant for the supply of tactical communication kits for Special Forces.The money was transferred from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser with the Central Bank of Nigeria to the domiciliary account of their company,One Plus Holdings.The offence is in contravention of Section 8{a} of the Money Laundering {Prohibition} Act,2011 as amended in 2012 and punishable under Section 15 {3} of the same Act.Mor
