ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                      It was announced today that 38 year old Kanye West will be receiving the highest honour,which is the Video Vangaurd awards at the 2015 MTV music video awards,that will take place these sunday.He will be honoured with the prestigious accolade,also known as the Life time achievement Award,at the sta studded gala,which will be presented by Miley Cyrus.The prize has previously been won by acts including Michael and Janet Jackson,with it last presented to Beyonce in 2014.Kanye West was the one that made the big announcement,through his twitter account.Remember in 2009,Kanye West rushed to the stage to harass Taylor Swift,saying that she did not deserve the award she was give in these same MTV Music Video Awards.So my question is these,will Taylor Swift or any other artist do same to him.More photos below.                               ...

THE LAST PATIENT INFECTED WITH EBOLA VIRUS IN SIERRA LEONE,WAS RELEASED YESTERDAY.

                 Yesterday monday,Sierra Leone released its last confirmed Ebola patient from hospital and they have began a 42 day count down to being declared Ebola free nation.Sierra Leone confirmed its first case in May and has since recorded the highest number of cases in the region .The patient is identified as 35 year old female Adama Sankoh..According to medical experts,she had responded well to treatment and she had received her second negative test result on sunday before her release the following day,which was marked by a ceremony that attend by President Ernest Bai Koroma.Medical staff celebrated and Ebola survivors held up signs of praise to Koroma at the International Medical Corps treatment center in the city of Makeni,east of Freetown.

6 DEAD,OVER 30 WOUNDED AS A 14 YEAR OLD DETONATED A BOMB IN DAMATURU MOTOR PARK TODAY.

                         Early today tuesday morning,a suicide female bomber,detonated an explosive device strapped to her body in Damaturu ,killing five people and injured about 30 people.The Nigeria Police spokesperson Toyin Gbadegesin said ''At about 7:40am,a female suicide bomber about 14 year old detonated an explosive device at the central Damaturu motor park.Six people were killed including the suicide bomber''.An official at the state emergency management agency Idi Musa Jigawa,said the suicide bomber tried to enter the motor park,or bus station,and was accosted by civilian vigilantes.She then pulled away and set off the bomb.six people were critically wounded and another 22 had minor injuries.No one claimed the bomb attack but all fingers are being pointed to the Islamist group Boko Haram.One more photo below.                               ...

A LAGOS STREET HAWKER,ARRAIGNED BEFORE EBUTE METTA MAGISTRATE COURT FOR ARSON.

                   Today tuesday,Arinze Okemiri,who sells eye glasses on the street of Lagos,was arraigned before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrate court,on charges of arson,attempted murder and action causing grievous harm.The Police Prosecutor Mr Emmanuel Ajayi,said Arinze attempted to burn down a shop at 19/21 Balogun street,Lagos Island,belonging to one Malachi Ezeoke,by setting it on fire after wetting it with petrol.Arinze,while attempting to set ablaze the two shops,also caused bodily harm to the shop owner,Mr Ezeoke,by setting fire on his two legs.The accused pleaded not guilty to all charges,upon the accused plea,his lawyer,Mr.S.O. Oladele,urged the court to admit him to bail in the most liberal term,since the accused is presume innocent until proven guilty.The presiding Chief Magistrate,O. 4 ROBBERY SUSPECTS,ARRESTED & TAKEN TO THE POLICE STATION BY RESIDENTS OF AYOBO IN IPAJA.

                  According to sources,a brave residents of Ayobo in Ipaja area of Lagos state,have arrested four suspects who allegedly came in the night to rob the residents.The incident happened at Ashapa area of Ayobo in Ipaja.The residents also recovered arms such as guns,cutlasses,knives,charms and other weapons from the robbers.The suspects allegedly invaded the area with their arms to rob the residents at about 3.00 am on sunday.The residents resisted and pursued them into a bush in the area.They mobilized other residents who surrounded the bush and combed it,and eventually arrested four of the suspects,while one of them escaped.They handed over the four suspects and the weapons they recovered from them,were given to the police in Ipaja division who transferred the suspects to the Commissioner of Police at the Command's Headquarters in Ikeja.The commissioner of police,Mr Fatai Owoseni,who saw the suspects and some of the residents at ...

SOUTH SUDAN PRESIDENT SALVA,TO SIGN PEACE DEAL TOMORROW.

                           Today tuesday,according to the spokesperson of South Sudan president,Ateny Wek said South Sudan President Salva Kiir has agreed to sign a peace deal and power sharing accord tomorrow wednesday to end months of civil war.The spokesperson further said that the presidents of the neighbouring countries,Kenya,Uganda,Sudan and Ethiopia's Prime Minister will converge in Juba tomorrow morning for a one day summit and the President of the Republic of South Sudan will sign the peace agreement.
