 Noise pollution: Lagos seals five churches, 19 hotels The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has temporarily shut down no fewer than five churches and 19 hotels over noise pollution between March 23 and April 26  Calculations by our correspondent also showed that no fewer than four markets and shopping complexes were also shut down over noise pollution and other environmental infractions. The churches that have been temporarily sealed include St Monica’s Hall of Our Lady of Lord’s Catholic Church, Christ Rock of Fire Ministry, Wonderful Bible Prayer Ministries, God’s Porch Ministries, and an unnamed Catholic Church Some of the hotels affected are School2bar, Blue Seasons Hotel and Suites, Sulerious Lakeside Hotel, Monero Hotel and Suites, and Lekki Hotel and Suites. AN AMERICAN FEMALE TOURIST,WAS MAULED TO DEATH BY A LION,IN JOHANNESBURG LION PARK TODAY.

                        According to the Johannesburg Police spokesman Lungelo Dlamini said an American tourist was mauled to death in South Africa today monday when a Lion jumped into her vehicle through an open window vehicle at a park on the outskirts of Johannesburg.She was driving with a male person at the park,they were attacked by the lion,she was killed at the park and the man has been taken to Hospital.We do not have a name for the 22 year old woman or what part of the United States she was from.Her traveling companion was a South African citizen.Scott Simpson Lion Park Assistant Director of Operation said that ''The woman died while paramedics tried to save her.The gentleman sustained some injuries to his arm,he was fighting the lion off inside the car.Our staff rshed over immediately and chased the lion away from the car''.

A NURSE IS ACCUSING HER MEDICAL DIRECTOR IN LAGOS,AFTER SHE LOST HER VIRGINITY THROUGH RAPE BY ARMED ROBBERS.

             An 18 year old auxiliary nurse has accused the owner of a private hospital in negligence after robbers raided the hospital and four of the robbers raped her in turns.The robbers also carted away valuable belonging to patients on admission at the hospital in Lagos state.The incident happened at a private hospital in Egan Lagos state.The nurse {name withheld} alleged that the owner of the hospital did not provide security for his staff and thereby subjected her to mental torture after she was raped and she lost her virginity.She reported the incident to the police station at Igando Division and the Medical Director was arrested and later released on bail.The armed robbers stormed the hospital around 3am recently and scaled the fence before gaining entry into the premises.They over powered a 19 year old security guard from Niger Republic,tied him with a rope and locked him in a room before carrying out their operation.The staff on night duty were brutally attacked and wounded

FORMER PRESIDENT MUBARAK OF EGYPT,HIS HEADQUARTERS WAS DEMOLISHED YESTERDAY.

               Yesterday sunday,workers were seen bringing down Hosni Mubarak's now defunct National Democratic Party's Headquarters,Activists in the country had wanted the concrete tower to be reserved as a monument to the uprising that removed Mubarak from power.The headquarters is situated near Tahiri Square the epic centre of the uprising that toppled Mubarack's Government in 2011.The building was burnt by activists during the 2011 protests.The move to demolish the building was approved by the government in April this year after lengthy public discussion about it.For protesters,the headquarters was a charred reminder of the revolt against Mubarak's 29 year reign so the building was set ablaze on Jan 28,2011,when protesters overwhelmed Mubarak's police forces and took control of Tahiri Square.

READ HOW 60 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES YESTERDAY IN ONITSHA,AFTER A FUEL TANKER CRASHED INTO A BUILDING.

                          It was a black sunday yesterday for the residents of Onitsha Anambra state,when a fuel tanker rammed into a building and caused an inferno.The incident happened around Upper Iweka Round-about.It was gathered that no fewer than 60 persons,including a pregnant woman and some children,were burnt by the fire,which also consumed about 15 buses.It was learnt that some newspaper free readers at a newsstand were among the victims.One of the eyewitnesses said the driver of the tanker was descending the Upper Iweka Road from the Enugu Nkpor Road when he lost control of the vehicle.''We learnt that the tanker suffered a rake failure and the driver lost control.I think he tried to stop the vehicle with some of the barriers on the road,but unfortunately the tanker rammed into a building and fell.The tanker caught fire 10 minutes after ramming into the building.The tanker was on its way to Asaba in Delta state when the incident happened''.May their soul rest
