                 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,is investigatigating the involvement of Aliyu Usman,who is linked with Leaderettehe Nigeria Limited and Nordeen Global Resources for their involvement in the monumental fraud that allegedly took place in the Office of the National Security Adviser,ONSA,during the regime of the embattled Col Sambo Dasuki.The two companies allegedly received about N897 Million from the arms deal funds from ONSA and diverted part of the money in the construction of an estate with 18 unit blocks of flats at Mbora District Abuja and another for the purchase of a 3 bedroom flat at OAU Qurters Wuse II Abuja.More photos below.

                 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC will on Tueday May 23,2017 stage anti corruption walk intended to further galvanize the Nigerian populace to embrace the fight against corruption.Acting Chairman of the Commission,Ibrahim Magu who is expected to lead the walk in Abuja said the exercise is planned to coincide with the secondary anniversary of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.According to him,the government's focus on anti-corruption has galvanized the anti-corruption establishment and delivered hope that corruption can indeed be fought with the right political will.The EFCC walk against corruption is expected to feature stakeholders from divers sectors including the organized labour,youth organizations,women groups,civil society organizations,and lots more.The exercise is expected to hold simultaneously in all the cities where the EFCC currently have offices.These include Abuja,Lagos,Port Harcourt,Enugu,Gombe,Ibadan,Benin,Maiduguri,Kano

                The newly built Fela {Kuti} Effigy at Allen Round About Ikeja by Lagos State Government is now the center of attraction around that environment and the yellow gold statue is no doubt making a statement though someone in my car said it looks like a big scare crow.In Ojodu Berger,the entry point into the State,a Foot-like Statue was also erected.The significance of the Statue is to encourage youths to put their best foot forward and to know that every journey to success starts with a step.The foot and the Fela Effigy os part of the urban regeneration to beautify and celebrate Lagos @ 50 as well as promote the cultural heritage of the State by the Lagos Government.More photos below.

                The 82 rescued Chibok school girls have been reunited with their parents in an emotion laden occasion in Abuja yesterday Saturday May 20,2017.The girls were earlier reunited with 24 others who were rescued by the Federal Government last year.In her message at the occasion,the Minister of Women Affairs,Hajia Jummai Alhassan,who was represented by Director Planninf,Research and Statistics in the ministry,Mrs Abidemi Aremo,said a group of experts has been put together to address the girls psycho-social support and medical needs.''The children are being rehabilitated and we believe that due course they will be properly aligned with their families Intensive medical attention is being administered and as soon as they are done,they will be enrolled into a remedy programme,'' she said.Hajia Alhasan disclosed that the 24 others who were rescued last year are currently undergoing psycho-social counselling and remedial programme preparatory to their enrollment in s
