 ANAMBRA POLICE TAKES OVER THE SCENE OF A FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT THAT CLAIMED THE LIVES OF SIX PERSONS IN ONITSHA TO FACILITATE INVESTIGATIONS The Anambra State Police Command has taken over the scene of a fatal motor accident that occurred on 15th March 2025 by 9pm at Upper Iweka axis of Onitsha.  The accident claimed the lives of six persons and left a few others with various degrees of injury. The aim of the take over is to ensure order in the area as well as to facilitate investigations into the incident . Eye witness accounts reveal that the accident occurred as a result of loss of control of a truck that rammed into pedestrians, two tricycles and a commercial bus loaded with passengers. Meanwhile, some of the injured are currently receiving treatment in the hospital, while the deceased has been deposited in the morgue and some relatives of the victims have been contacted and debriefed about the incident. SENATE ASSURES EFCC STAFF OF IMPROVED WELFARE YESTERDAY.{PHOTOS}.

                 The Chairman,Senate Committee on Financial Crimes and Anti-Corruption,Senator Chukwuka Utazi has assured staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,of enhanced welfare and better working conditions.He gave this assurance yesterday friday while conducting on the spot assessments of the facilities and working environment of the South-South Zonal office of the EFCC in Port Harcourt,Rivers State.According to him,the works of the staff of the EFCC ''are high-risk jobs that must be supported with incentives,facilities and the best of welfare conditions''.He particularly emphasized the re-introduction of the Commission and a ''fully-functional housing scheme to ensure that the housing needs of staff'' are met.On the issue of training,Utazi,who was accompanied on the assessment tour by three other Senators,staff of his Committee and Journalists,disclosed that though the Senate sympathized with the government on his em...

                 Veteran Actor Bob Manuel lost his father  Pa Geoffrey Nwafor Udokwu {Ononenyu} on tuesday November 22,2016.His aged father passed away in his home country in Nkwelle Ogidi in Anambra state.Burial arrangement will be announced by the deceased family.According to sources,Bob Manuel Udokwu is now a complete orphan as he lost his mother on July 20,2014 and she died at the age of 78 years.The veteran actor and Special Adviser on Creative Media to Governor Obiano lost his daf to age related illness.May his soul rest in peace Amen.More photos below.

                       Fidel Castrol who brought the Cold War to the Western Hemisphere in 1959 and then defied the United States for nearly half a century as Cuba's maximum leader,bedeviling 11 American presidents and briefly pushing the world to the brink of nuclear war,died yesterday friday the 25th of November 2016 at the age of 90.His death was announced by Cuban state television.Cuba has now declared a 9 days of national mourning for Fidel Castrol.May his soul rest in peace Amen.More photos below.
