Stakeholders Call For Equity, Justice And Strategic Balance, Demand Zoning Of Zangon Kataf/Jaba House Of Representatives Seat To Zangon Kataf  Stakeholders across the Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency in Kaduna State have renewed calls for what they describe as equity, fairness, and strategic political balance in the rotation of the area’s seat in the House of Representatives. In a communiqué addressed to the Governor of Kaduna State, the state leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional rulers, religious leaders, community development associations, political stakeholders, and the electorate, the group advocated for the zoning of the federal legislative seat to Zangon Kataf Local Government Area.  The stakeholders argued that demographic and electoral figures demonstrate a significant imbalance in representation.  According to data presented in the communiqué, the constituency has a total population of 474,964, with Zangon Kataf Local Government ac...

            Today wednesday,according to the U.N Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon,said the head of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Central African Republic has resigned after a fresh round of allegations of sexual abuse and excessive use of force by peacekeepers.''Today i have accepted the resignation of my special representative Mr Babacar Gaye,head of the United Nationd Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central Africa Republic,MINUSCA'.Gaye a general from Senegal,submitted his resignation at Ban's request.The announcement comes after Amnesty International accused MINUSCA peacekeepers of raping a 12 year old girl and killing a boy and his father during an operation in the country's capital of Bangui this month.Ban Ki-Moon said Gaye worked so honourably for many years but he wanted to show a strong example.He plans to brief the U.N security tomorrow thursday.He added that he was convening a special meeting with all U.N envoys,...

AN HELICOPTER TODAY CRASHED IN OWORONSHOKI LAGOON,LAGOS STATE.,KILLING 3 PEOPLE.

                           Today wednesday,the National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA},has reported that an unidentified helicopter has crashed into the Lagos Lagoon at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos.According to the spokesman for NEMA,Ibrahim Farinloye in an SMS said no distress call was sent to NEMA alert system from the helicopter but rescue agencies are on their way to the scene of the incident.The helicopter crashed around 3:40pm today wednesday and three people have been confirmed dead and three people injured.I just pray by now that everybody including the pilot,survived.One more photo below.

                  According to sources,35 year old Pastor {Mrs} Joy Tongo of the Mountain of fire Ministry,Yaba headquarters,has been charged before Isolo Magistrate court and remand in prison for her alleged involvement in a visa scandal in Lagos state.She defrauded Stanley Dim under the false pretence of procuring him a Chinese visa for missionary journey.According to Stanley Dim,Pastor Tongo met him at the church headquarters in Yaba and promised to link him with her partner in China for missionary journey and thereafter he could stay back there and earn a living.Pastor Tongo allegedlly told him that he will pay N300,000 or the procurement of visa and other necessary documents for the trip.Stanley Dim,who did not suspect any foul play,gave her the money and she promised to get back to him with the visa a day before the journey.Pastor Tongo allegedly failed to deliver the visa on the day she promised Stanley Dim.The travel period also elaps...
