Wike To Ayu: I Dare You To Stop Any PDP Candidate From Contesting In 2023 Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has dared the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu, to stop any of the party’s candidates from contesting the 2023 general election. Wike, who gave the challenge yesterday while speaking with newsmen at his private residence in Port Harcourt, was reacting to a statement credited to Ayu, where he said he would have stopped Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, from contesting a senatorial seat. El-Rufai Turns Lecturer On Governance, Economy  Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has taught the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship participants key concepts of governance and economy. For nine hours during the week, the governor held a workshop that took the Fellows through a discourse on McKinsey’s 7-S Framework, a powerful tool and model for Organizational Planning, Analysis, and Diagnosis. Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship (KIF) is a one-year non-partisan leadership training programme for young Nigerians between the age of 25-35 years. The one-year Fellowship aims to create a network of high-potential young Nigerians who are expected to rise to top leadership positions in the public and private sectors of the country. South East Governors To Start Joint Security Patrol In Major Highways Before December. South East Governors have concluded arrangements to commence joint twenty-four hour security patrol in all major highways in the zone before December first this year, as a way of beefing up the security network and restore normalcy in the area. This was contained in a communiqué issued by the South East Governors' Forum after their emergency meeting at Enugu state Government House. PDP CRISIS: I WON'T MEET ORTOM, SAYS AYU Against the backdrop of the long-running crisis rocking the party, the National chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Iyorchia Ayu has vowed he will not make move to meet Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state. Police arrest 2 for sending fake bank alert to defraud innocent citizens in Delta  The Command have arrested two suspects namely,  Ofemu Obus ‘m’ age 23yrs and Henry Ekpu ‘m’ age 28yrs, the two suspects were arrested by Operatives attached to the Command's Raiders squad on 27/10/2022, the suspects are alleged to specialize in Defrauding unsuspecting POS operators by generating fake alerts which they use to deceives their victims and defraud them of their money. Dubai Police supports Inmates with Six Million Dirhams   The General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions has provided financial assistance to inmates worth AED 6,570,399 in 2022.   These numbers were revealed during the annual inspection carried out by Major General Dr Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneering Affairs, when he was accompanied by Brigadier Marwan Abdul Karim Julfar, Acting Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, and other senior officers.   Maj. Housewife Poisons Her Husband To D£ath In Borno, Says “I Hate Marriage” The Borno Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old housewife, Fatima Abubakar, for allegedly killing her husband, Goni Abbah with poison. The Commissioner Of Police, Mr Abdu Umar, who disclosed this to the News men in Maiduguri, on Sunday, October 30, said that the suspect was arrested on October 19 by men of the Command at Anguwan Doki. Umar said that the victim, who was the Chief Imam of the area, returned from the mosque when the suspect, who was the second wife, allegedly mixed poison in his food. The CP explained that as soon as Goni started eating, his condition deteriorated.
