 TCIPC Customs, NNS Beecroft Reaffirm Commitment to National Security, Trade Facilitation The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Tincan Island Port Command (TCIPC), and the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS), Beecroft, have renewed their commitment to securing Nigeriaā€™s maritime borders and facilitating smooth trade operations.  This was highlighted during a visit on Thursday, 27 March 2025, by the newly appointed Commander of NNS Beecroft, Commodore Paul Nimmyel, to the Customs Area Controller (CAC), Comptroller Frank Onyeka at the TCIPC headquarters. 19 PEOPLE DIED TODAY AFTER 2 SUICIDE BOMBERS,ENTERED A MARKET IN CAMEROON AND DETONATED THEIR BOMBS.

                       It was confirmed today friday that  1 9 people died and 50 injured in a market in Meme after two suicide bombers detonated their bombs today friday in northern Cameroon.Two men walked into the market and blew themselves up,one of the officials based in northern Cameroon said,adding that the number of dead and injured is subject to change.There has so far been no official claim of responsibility for the attack,but officials pointed the finger at the Nigerian based Boko Haram,which has been blamed for a campaign of suicide attacks in neighboring countries Cameroon,Chad and Niger over the past year.Though the Nigerian troops of the 7 Division Garrison comprising of  1 1 2 Battalion and Armed Forces Special Forces the day before yesterday carried out a joint clearance patrol on suspected Boko Haram terrorists locations at Kwaptara,Mijigete,Garin Boka,Mosole,Ngubdori,Ma'asa,Dukje and Gulumba in Dikwa...

THE NIGERIA POLICE ENGAGED IN A GUN BATTLE WITH SOME BANDITS YESTERDAY,IN KADUNA.

                       On the  1 8th of February,20 1 6,that is yesterday thursday,at  1 :00pm the Nigerian Police received a distress call that armed robbers were operating along Gwagwada Road ,Kaduna State.Nigeria Police Force SARS operatives moved to the area and engaged the bandits in a gun battle.One of the suspects Mohammed Sani,of Bakane in Katsina State was arrested while others escaped into the bush.An AK-47 rifle with three fully loaded magazines was recovered from the suspect.Then on the  1 7th of  February,at  1 1 :45am,Anti kidnapping Unit operatives investigating a case of kidnapping arrested one Tamuno Fubara and four other suspected kidnappers/armed robbers at Abuloma and Choba axis of River State,who are all members of an eight man gang.During a search of their premises four AK-47 rifles were recovered,one hundred and twenty rounds of 7.62mm calibre ammunition and one 75HP engine boat u...

18 PEOPLE DEAD,AFTER 2 ETHNIC GROUP CLASHED IN U.N COMPOUND,YESTERDAY IN SOUTH SUDAN.

                      According to the international medical aid group said,fighting at a United Nations compound sheltering people fleeing conflict in South Sudan has killed  1 8 people,including two Medicins Sans Frontieres workers.The U.N peacekeeping mission,UNMISS,had said yesterday thursday fighting the night before between youths sheltering in the U.N compound in Malakal had killed fve and wounded 30 after violence erupted between two ethnic groups.The U.N secretary-general's spokesman said later that at least seven people had been killed.The Medical Charity said in a statement that ''At least  1 8 people were killed in armed conflict that erupted...in the Protection of Civilians site in Malakal..including two South Sudanese staff members of ...Medecins Sans Frontieres {MSF} who were attacked in their homes''.More photos below.                         ...

A POLICEMAN DIED TODAY,DURING A FITNESS TRAINING IN ADO ODO.

                      According to sources,a Deputy Superintendent of Police {DSP} attached to the Ado Odo Divisional Headquarters Ogun state,Mr.Bolade Agboola,slumped and died during a fitness exercise today friday.Agboola,who until his death was the Divisional Crime Officer {DCO} of the station,was said to have gone to a nearby Alamuwa Secondary School compound to join others in physical exercise when he collapsed and passed out.He was rushed to a private hospital where he was confirmed dead by doctors.The deceased,according to close sources,was said to have returned from his home-town in Ekiti State a few days ago after a brief illness.He was said to have been advised by doctors to engage in fitness exercise.The body of the police officer has since been deposited in the mortuary.Another source said ''The incident happened at about 7:50 am yesterday when Agoola went to Alamuwa Secondary School to exercise his body.He met a group o...
