160 NIGERIANS EVACUATED FROM USA ARRIVE IN ABUJA.[PHOTO].

      The first batch of Nigerians stranded in the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic has arrived in Abuja . 160 Nigerians , including eight infants, made the first batch of evacuees. They arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja , around 11. 05 am on Sunday. They returned aboard an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 aircraft under the special flight arrangements by the Federal Government for nationals strande d abroad. “ ET Flight 8509 conveying 160 Nigerian evacuees from the US has safely arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport , Abuja , ” Minister of Foreign Affairs , Geoffrey Onyeama, said while confirming their arrival . The plane departed the Newark International Airport, New Jersey, on Saturday around 8 :20 p. m . local time (1: 20 a .m . in Nigeria on Sunday). Onyeama added that on arrival , the evacuees would be quarantined for 14 days in Abuja before leaving for their respective destinations in the country .

       Ogun COVID-19 Update #6: 35 Total Discharged, Total Active Now 76 including 2 New Cases On Saturday, 9th May, 2020, Ogun State discharged 5 COVID-19 patients out of the earlier recorded 113 total confirmed cases in the State. The patients have since joined their families after they all tested negative to the virus twice, bringing the total number of discharged cases in the State to 35. The NCDC on the same day, Saturday announced 2 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the State. This brings to total, 115 confirmed cases. There are currently 76 active cases under observation and treatment in the Isolation Centres in the State. Contact of the 2 new confirmed patients are currently being traced. Everyone is urged to maintain measures recommended by international and local health authorities. Stay home. Stay safe.

       Two facilities in Badagry West Local Council Development Area of Lagos State have been shut down for contravening new guidelines issued by the government to operators of hotels, clubs and other entertainment outfits in the State. Speaking on the closure of Maggi Hotel, and Tambari Theatre Art (Night Club) both in Seme axis of Badagry, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and C ulture, Mr. Solomon Bonu, stated that the facilities were shut for violating and contravening the order of the State government. He said, "Apart from the fact that these facilities open for normal operations in defiance to the government's directive, it was also discovered that there is a high level of immorality going on in these places.     Covid-19 Update By The Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu My dear Lagosians, I am happy to inform you that 21 more  # COVID19  patients; 4 females and 17 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society. The patients, 3 from Onikan, 1 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 1from First Cardiology Hospital (an accredited private Isolation facility), 6 from Lekki and 10 from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres. were discharged today having fully recovered and tested negative to  # COVID19  in two consecutive test readings. With this, the total number of cases successfully managed and discharged from isolation facilities has risen to 469. GOV. WIKE DEMOLISHED TWO HOTELS TODAY FOR VIOLATING THE SIT AT HOME ORDER.{PHOTOS}.

     Governor, Nyesom Wike of Rivers state on Sunday April 10, supervised the demolition of two hotels in the state for violating the order of the state government for hotels to remain shut as part of measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the state.... Recall that last week, the Governor, while placing the capital city, comprising Port Harcourt and Obio-Akpo local government areas on curfew, vowed to pull down hotels operating during the lockdown and buildings opened for  business. The Prodest hotel and one Edemeteh Hotel, Onne were found to have violated the lockdown order as they opened for business. The governor stunned residents of the state this afternoon when he accompanied a bulldozer to the Prodest Hotel to pull the structure down. The same fate befell the Edemeteh Hotel, Onne.       Unfortunately It was a joyful day to some people yesterday at Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state. As trailer carrying hero beer fell down in Ekwulobia roundabout earlier yesterday, the Ekwulobia people were seen drinking from the beer that was scattered all over the place. One of the young men caught in the Scene scooping some bottles of Hero was asked why he ventured into such, he Replied : ,,,“Opportunity Comes but ones". 🙄 They tagged it Ekwulobia free drink day.More photos below.

      A Nigerian lady took to Facebook to claim she gave birth after being pregnant for 2 years and 4 months... According to Peace Okeke-Amadi, she waited for 5 years to get pregnant after the birth of her first child but the new pregnancy took a different turn. She claimed that during those months she waited to give birth to her baby, many claimed her sin kept her in the condition she was in. Others also alleged that her pregnancy is a scam and that she was mocking God. Peace claimed she conceived her child in December 2017 and welcomed her baby girl on April 28, 2020! Lol. OK!      On the 7/5/2020 a 36 years old woman resident at UNIZIK temp-site Awka, reported at B Division Awka that at about 9:pm of 6/5/2020, while departing with her friend at Okochi Okpuno, a man later identified as Emeka Okeke 'm' aged 28 years alias "Aso Rock"followed her closely, raised his shirt to show her a 'gun' tucked in his waist, and threatened to shoot her dead if she did no t submit herself to his sexual demand for Carnal knowledge. Consequently the frightened victim, believing it was a real gun, and under the fear of being shot dead, followed him to a building in Okochi where he forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her. Again while being led out of the scene, the suspect forcefully led her to the premises of Community Primary School Okpuno, where he had another rounds of carnal knowledge with the victim.
