EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

For me, it can only be divine that this period coincides with our transitioning into the next administration, reflecting the actual mood required for serious takeoff. In the light of our faith in God and humanity, the period of Lent reminds us of the ephemarility of life, and the need to make each day of our existence count. As we commence this solemn journey of faith, let's commit ourselves to the mortification of all things evil. NPF Summons Officer Turned ‘Errand Boy’ Attached To Buhari’s Appointee, Nimota Akanbi   The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has summoned to Abuja, Yahaya Abubakar, the police orderly in a viral video holding a plate of food for his “madam”, Ambassador Nimota Akanbi.He is to report to the Force Headquarters, Abuja. Acting Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi disclosed this on Wednesday.   Adejobi warned police officers attached to Very Important Persons all over the country to stop serving purposes other than protecting them from security threats. “We have seen the policeman. APC TO BOYCOTT LG ELECTIONS IN BENUE The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has asked its members not to participate in the forthcoming local government elections that would hold in May this year. State chairman of the party Comrade Austin Agada who disclosed this during a press conference organised by the Benue State exco and stakeholders of the party in Makurdi said after consultation they came to the conclusion that APC would not field candidates  because it is a ‘selection’ not an election that would hold in May.   Controversy as police officer is captured carrying food for a ‘Madam’ he is protecting.  Many have questioned the habit of rich people in the society using police officers attached to them as errand boys and girls. More details later.  UPDATE  Buhari Appointee, Nimota Akanbi Turns Policeman To ‘errand boy’ At Party  Akanbi is the chairman of the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC). She is also a former Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Netherlands. The event was said to be a Turbaning ceremony held in Ilorin, Kwara State during the weekend. In the video, the officer identified as Yahaya Abubakar was seen carrying Akanbi’s plate as she went about dishing food from the array of food provided at the party.
