CAF CONSIDERS REVERTING TO HOLDING AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS EVERY TWO YEARS. (PHOTO).

 CAF considers reverting to holding Africa Cup of Nations every two years Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe said the organisation was discussing reverting to hosting the Africa Cup of Nations every two years. Motsepe made the remarks at a CAF strategy conference in Cabo Verde on Friday. CAF's decision to stage the continental championship every four years had proved unpopular in many quarters. "We have discussed things over the last few days and are looking at everything, including having the AFCON come back every two years," Motsepe said, AP reported. He announced in December that there would be Cup of Nations finals in 2027 and 2028, with the next one after that in 2032 and a four-year gap between tournaments to follow. This was to accommodate a new annual Nations League format that would fill up the calendar, which Motsepe said at the time would be more lucrative.

SKYE BANK WAS ON FIRE TODAY+CBN EXTENDS BVN REGISTRATION.

              Today i took out my time for my Bank Verification Number,since it was announced that the dead line for the BVN is this wednesday.While waiting for the verification process to start,fire broke out from one of the office in Skye bank Omole phase 2 Ikeja and there was a lot of smoke everywhere.The smoke and the fear of the fire hurting anybody,made the bank security men to open the security doors for all the customers to rush out of the bank immediately.Thank God,nobody was hurt but that made the BVN process very slow as the fire affected their internet,i left my house around 8:am but i left the bank around 5pm today monday.The banks staffs were operating from one point out of the two verification point they have.CBN introduced the exercise in 2014 to enable banks check fraudulent practices by customers.During the verification process,a Skye bank staff announced that CBN has extended the deadline to September not wednesday these week again.M...

      According to Sierra Leone officials who said yesterday sunday that one of the three districts of Sierra Leone where new cases of Ebola have been recorded will jail those who break a new emergency by law designed to prevent the spread of the disease.''People caught in sacred burials like washing bodies,transporting sick people in vehicles,traditional healers treating the sick and those hiding the sick people in homes will be jailed for six months without option of fines''.A three week day time curfew was also imposed in the last Ebola hit areas in a bid to curb a resurgence of the deadly Ebola virus.One more photo below.                                                                                                     ...
