 Fubara, Wike’s fight about money sharing — Amaechi A former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that the feud between the suspended governor of the oil-rich state, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is about money sharing. Amaechi said this in an interview with DW Africa on Saturday. The ex-governor also said the emergency rule imposed on the state by President Bola Tinubu was unconstitutional. He said, “The fight between the current governor of Rivers State and the FCT minister is about sharing money. If not, what is the quarrel?  Nigerians don’t dislike corruption anymore. I’ve not seen anybody on the street querying what the problem is. Can both of them speak to the public and tell us what the problem is? “We are now denied democracy. SKYE BANK WAS ON FIRE TODAY+CBN EXTENDS BVN REGISTRATION.

              Today i took out my time for my Bank Verification Number,since it was announced that the dead line for the BVN is this wednesday.While waiting for the verification process to start,fire broke out from one of the office in Skye bank Omole phase 2 Ikeja and there was a lot of smoke everywhere.The smoke and the fear of the fire hurting anybody,made the bank security men to open the security doors for all the customers to rush out of the bank immediately.Thank God,nobody was hurt but that made the BVN process very slow as the fire affected their internet,i left my house around 8:am but i left the bank around 5pm today monday.The banks staffs were operating from one point out of the two verification point they have.CBN introduced the exercise in 2014 to enable banks check fraudulent practices by customers.During the verification process,a Skye bank staff announced that CBN has extended the deadline to September not wednesday these week again.M...

      According to Sierra Leone officials who said yesterday sunday that one of the three districts of Sierra Leone where new cases of Ebola have been recorded will jail those who break a new emergency by law designed to prevent the spread of the disease.''People caught in sacred burials like washing bodies,transporting sick people in vehicles,traditional healers treating the sick and those hiding the sick people in homes will be jailed for six months without option of fines''.A three week day time curfew was also imposed in the last Ebola hit areas in a bid to curb a resurgence of the deadly Ebola virus.One more photo below.                                                                                                     ...
