EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                      Nawahoo a personnel of the Nigerian Air force has shot and killed his girlfriend,who is also an Air Force personnel,in fit of rage and jealousy.The Air Force man is identified as Kalu B.A while the woman is identified as Oladipupo Solape.The incident,which occurred at the Air Force Base in Makurdi,Benue State,is under investigation according to the Air Force authorities.Punch cited the Public Relation Officer at the base,Wing Commander Emmanuel Iheoma,as confirming the incident,saying that it was under investigation and that more details would be provided in due course.Friends of the female Air Force official,Oladipupo Solape,who is known as Shomzy Shomzy to her colleagues and friends,have taken to the social media to express their shock over the incident and mourn her.Sources said the incident occurred on sunday morning after the jealous lover accused her of double dating.The slain personnel reportedly hailed from Badagry and was murdered two weeks after celebrat

RRS ARRESTED A MAN WHO STOLE 6 LAPTOPS FROM A SEMINAR WHILE HE WAS HOSTING HIS CHURCH MEMBERS.{PHOTO}.

             According to sources,the operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a man who specialised in stealing laptops and properties of conference and seminar participants in Lagos State.The suspect,Ikemefuna Aje,47,was arrested on wednesday afternoon by the operatives after he had gate-crashed into a seminar organised for internet brand managers at a popular hotel in GRA,Ikeja,Lagos.He made away with 5 MacBooks,one HP computer and some assorted personal effects of the workshop participants.Ikemufuna,captured in the CCTV camera around the venue of the event,drove into the venue,before heading straight into the seminar precisely when the participants were having launch in another room.The suspect,who was corporately dressed,wore the tag of seminar participants before making away with the items.He had after stealing the said items,took them to computer village,Ikeja and sold 5 Mac Books and one HP computer to one Saliu Ibraheem for N1,110,00.R

U.S-BASED NIGERIAN MAN DISGRACED YESTERDAY AFTER STORMING UNIZIK TO BEAT UP HIS SUPPOSED LOVER'S BOYFRIEND.{PHOTO}.

                  There was drama at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University School of Pharmacy,Agulu,Anambra State,yesterday,when a man who just returned from the U.S,stormed the campus,to fight for the love of his supposed girlfriend.Trouble started,on friday night when he called the girl while studying during night class,and his girl's side boyfriend on campus picked the call.In the course of their conversation,the boyfriend threatened to beat the U.S returnee.Angered by the threat,he went to the campus yesterday to teach him a lesson.On getting there,he called the supposed boyfriend,but coincidentally,an innocent student was also receiving a call close by.Thinking that the innocent students was the boyfriend and was answering his call,he pounced on him and started beating him until security operatives intervened.He and his accomplice were eventually disgraced out of the campus.From the mixed photos above you will notice how he was disgraced.

                Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode at the weekend said thar the proposed Bus Reform Initiative aimed at giving Lagosians an integrated public transportation system would kick start this year with a sinking fund of N30billion. Governor Ambode,who spoke to journalists,said his administration had identified the challenges Lagosians go through on a daily basis commuting via public transportation,saying the reform was aimed at providing a viable alternative. He said the Bus Reform Initiative is a three year plan aimed at introducing over 5000 air-conditioned buses to replace the yellow commercial buses,popularly called Danfo,which according to him,was no longer befitting for the State's mega city status.''We decided that the best thing is to allow the yellow buses go and so the Bus Reform Initiative itself is a three-year plan of 2017 to 2019 in which it intends to bring in new buses of 5,000 units in the three year plan.The bigger size buses will take 70
