 Fuel scarcity bites harder in Abuja, Ondo, Osun, others • Independent marketers sell PMS between N625 and N799 per litre There is no succour yet for motorists and other petrol end users despite the Thursday statement by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) that it had resolved the logistic problems that sparked the supply crisis. Reports from across the country yesterday showed that many filling stations had no fuel to sell. Some sold over and above the threshold of N650 per litre while motorists and other buyers besieged the few ones that sold within the range of N600 per litre. While many petrol stations in Lagos sold fuel at the normal price and queues were not noticeable, it was a different story in the industrial town of Ota, Ogun State where some filling stations hiked their pump price to N799 per litre. A MAN'S SCROTUM,CUT OFF BY HIS LANDLORD'S TWO CHILDREN IN IKOTUN.

                 According to sources,these thursday morning around 3am, two landlord children attacked one 35 year old Yinka Offehin a tenant and cut off his scrotum.The Edo state indigene resides in Abaranje road off Ikotun area of Lagos.His wife Bisi said they were sleep when the landlords two children Solomon and Damilola banged on their door,they thought they were armed robbers because they were recently robbed.''When they entered,we saw they were children of our landlord.They began destroying our electronics and other property.One held a knife in his hand.They took N800,000.They decended on my husband and he also fought back.In that confusion,my husband shouted and we saw that one of the attackers had cutoff my husband's scrotum.I can't say what they used to cut off my husbands scrotum.My husband though in pain was able to hold on to one of his attackers till dawn,while the other fled the scene''.Hmmmmmmmmm,na wa ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.That is why most people d

          According to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority {NCAA} spokesman Sam Adurogboye,he said today thursday that they had started temperature screening passengers arriving from places at risk from Ebola and had suspended Asky airline for bring the first case to Lagos.''Screening and monitoring is being done at all major international airports.It entails checking passengers temperature with a hand held machine''.That was what they would have done since the outbreak in other African countries.

               Sierra Leone declares a state of emergency and called in troops to quarantine Ebola victims today thursday,joining neigbourig Liberian country in imposing tough controls as the death toll hits 729.The World Health Organisation said it was in urgent talks with donors and international agencies to deploy more medical staff and resources to one of the world's poorest regions.The W.H.O reported 57 new deaths between July 2 and July 27 in Guinea,Liberia Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
