 Drama as Mohbad’s wife finally gets served DNA court order on her house gate Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer, Mohbad has been finally served the court order for a DNA test. It was reported that the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu had granted the order that Omowunmi needed to be served a notice of the pending DNA test application. The legal team told the court that the Sheriff of the court had attempted twice to serve Wunmi the court process but failed and the Chief Magistrate then ordered that Wunmi should be served by posting the court process on her last known address. In an update to it, the court order has been finally delivered to her. The court order letter was pasted on the mother of one’s house gate.

Israel-Palestine Conflict: How Attacks On Al-Aqsa Mosque, Others Triggered Crisis The raging conflict between Israel and Palestine has been linked to the attacks by the former on al-Aqsa mosque and Gaza refugee camp in the past years. The escalated crisis has since Saturday recorded more than 1,000 casualties on both sides. Palestine was said to have had 421 deaths; and Israel, over 700. The numbers of those injured were put at 2, 220 and 2, 156 respectively. Female trader dies in Imo auto crash, mob sets vehicle ablaze An auto crash on Saturday at Orji community in the Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State on the Owerri-Okigwe Expressway claimed the life of a female trader. Eyewitnesses told Newsmen that a heavy duty vehicle rammed on a commercial vehicle popularly known as Busimo. While the victim’s head was said to have been cut off by the vehicle, other passengers in the bus sustained high levels of injuries and were rushed to various hospitals. The state police command deployed its state Traffic Department to the scenes as the incident caused traffic gridlock. PENGASSAN Confirms Return Of Fuel Subsidy Under Tinubu The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has confirmed the return of fuel subsidy under President Bola Tinubu. President Bola Tinubu had announced the removal of fuel subsidy on his first day in office, leading to increase in fuel price from N197 to between N480 and N570, the pump price was subsequently reviewed upward to N620. However, there were reports that the price would go up as a result of fluctuation in the global oil market. There were reports that the federal government intervened to prevent further rise in pump price, but the government denied this. However, Daily Trust subsequently found documents which showed that despite the numerous assurances by Tinubu that subsidy was gone, the federal government paid N169.4 billion as subsidy in August to keep the pump price at N620 per litre. Lagdo Dam: NEMA Lists 9 States At Risk Of Flooding October 8, 2023 The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has alerted Nigerians to expect floods in nine states as Cameroon began the release of water from its Lagdo Dam. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the states are: Adamawa, Taraba, Benue, Nasarawa, Kogi, Anambra, Edo, Delta and Bayelsa. Mr Mustapha Ahmed, Director General, NEMA, disclosed this on Saturday in Abuja when he briefed newsmen on the release of water from the dam.
