 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail.               Last night at Beyonce and Jay Z's On the Run Tour in Paris,she surprised fans by performing with Nicki Minaj.There were rumours two month ago that both of them collaborated and yesterday night in Paris confirmed the rumours.The French fans were given the pleasure of being the first ones to see them perform the song live.More photos below.

NEMA CONFIRMS 16 DIED AND 109 WERE RESCUED AT THE SYNAGOGUE CHURCH.

           Today saturday,Mr Ibrahim Farinloye,the Public Relations officer of National Emergency Management Agency {NEMA}said 109 people who were trapped at the collapsed building in Synagogue church owned by Pastor T.B Joshua has been rescued while 16 dead bodies have been retrieved from the debris.The 109 people that were rescued from the six storey building that collapsed yesterday,was rushed to the Isolo and Alimosho General Hospital,while corpses were deposited at the mortuary.They further claimed that some people could still be trapped in the collapsed building as rescue effort was still on.Rumours going round is that the six storey building collapsed because they wanted to increase it to eight storey.

THE HEAD OF ICT DEPARTMENT IN A BANK,ROBBED THE BANK OF N6.3BILLION.

           Godswill Oyegwa,who worked in the Information and Communication Technology {ICT} Department of a bank {name withheld}.He is now on the run because he allegedly conspired with others and hacked into the bank's computers,disbursing the funds to various accounts as they pleased.Godswill hails from Isoko south Local Government Area of Delta state.Mr Wilson Uwujaren,EFCC spokesman said ''They most likely got through to Godswill because he's an IT person in the bank.One saturday,he took the cyber gang to the bank under the pretext that he was going to carry out some maintenance work,allowing them access to hardware,and they commenced to penetrate the banks database.They increased the balances of some accounts,though no culprits have been arrested yet,the matter is still under investigation.The thieves have not withdrawn the entire sum stated,it was in the process of withdrawing some of the money that they were caught.Some of the criminals are being tra...
