 PRESS RELEASE FG Flags Off  Three Major Water Supply Projects to Boost Access in Benue State The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, has flagged off three critical water supply projects in Benue State as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.  The projects which includes rehabilitation and upgrading of the Buruku-Gboko Water Supply Project, Rehabilitation and Improvement of the Wannune Water Supply Project, and Construction of the Ugbema Water Supply Project are aimed at expanding access to potable water, improving public health, and mitigating the prevalence of waterborne diseases in the state. The musician also stated that he will work for the re-election of Governor Wike whom he described as his godfather. Speaking on Sunday at the Government House Port Harcourt after he visited the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Davido noted that the show was in line with his discussions with the State Government to support upcoming artistes.         The attention of the National Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association have been drawn to a video clip which has now gone viral involving a 'lawyer' and some Federal Road Safety Corp officials. The video clip appeared to show the 'lawyer' assaulting a female FRSC official and behaving in a way unexpected of a legal practitioner. While we are still in the process of obtaining the particulars of the 'lawyer' involved and h is branch, we assure members that the NBA would not tolerate a situation where legal practitioners exhibit acts of thuggery and gross indiscipline in the conduct of their affairs, and bring the legal profession into disrepute.        The combined Team of Air Force Military School (AFMS) and Air Force Girls Comprehensive Secondary School (AFGCS) Jos has emerged the winner of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Inter-Secondary Schools Quiz, Debate and Sports Competition which ended in Kaduna yesterday, 14 December 2018. The week-long event, which featured both academic and sporting activities, brought over 500 st udents from the 13 NAF secondary schools together, to foster team spirit and healthy competition among the students to enable them excel in their future endeavours. ARMY REPELLED TERRORISTS INFILTRATION AT GUDUMBALI,BORNO STATE.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

        Troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE located at Gudumbali in northern Borno State on Friday 15th December 2018 repelled an infiltration by suspected Boko Haram terrorists that came disguised as civilian Internally Displaced Persons and inserted themselves in the community. The terrorists took advantage of the ongoing distribution of relief materials by the Nigerian Army at Gudumbali and opened fire on troops location which was followed by rapid fire from other terrorists in gun trucks along Gudumbali-Kukawa axis. The trucks conveying the relief materials were set ablaze. However, the troops however fought gallantly and outmanoeuvred the attackers and inflicted heavy casualties on them. Unfortunately, a soldier paid the supreme price during the encounter, while another was wounded in action. A Cobra Armoured Personnel Carrier and a truck belonging to the unit were damaged.
